Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Temple Terrace

I did A Walk in at this location at night time around 10:00 p.m. I literally had to wait almost 15 minutes for someone to assist me at the front counter, when there was no one in the store at all they literally had NO customers! no one was visible in the back area or anything, it was like ghost town inside of there. there was an older black guy who was taking out the trash, once he notice me he yelled to the rest of the team that someone was at the register 15 minutes later no one came after a while and African-American gentleman with dreads came to the register to take my order I then advised him that I had been waiting for a while and could he offer me some type of discount or accommodate me for this. He was not sympathetic at all about the situation and told me it was nothing that he could do and proceeded to take my order I paid full price for my order which took forever to be prepared. After receiving my order there was a piece of hair on my pizza after the way I was treated at pizza hut that night i decided not to call based on how I was treated when I visited in person, I knew that I would not get far with a phone call at this location so I'm writing this review for anyone looking forward to coming to this location at night time this is definitely an unprofessional/Unsanitary location at night time! I'm not sure how things are handled during the day shift but I had the worst experience ever and on top of that I was NOT accommodated for the experience that I had here. tl;dr: don't do the delivery, or anything too complicated, incompetence abounds, try Domino's instead

I ordered a large stuffed crust half pepperoni half cheese (a bit basic, I know, but I'm a simple man), and was told it should take about 30-45 minutes to arrive. BUT, after taking my payment info, it was suddenly 45 minutes to 1 hour. This should have deterred me, but I wanted that golden stuffed deliciousness.

After waiting over an hour (maybe the traffic was bad), I called back. Turns out, I had been talking to a switch board, and they didn't direct my order to the closest store! I was told that my pizza was on its way, and it was. About an hour and a half after I placed the order (three times as long as the initial estimate), it shows up.

The pizza was warm-ish, the cheese had set, the pepperoni was stiff, the crust was soggy, and, worst of all, the stuffed crust had escaped! I was looking at a rapidly approaching room temperature disk of disappointment. It was a representation of a monumental amount of incompetency, at every level of the process.

The switchboard operator who took my order was slow and rude. She sent my order to a distant store. The person who assembled my pizza didn't spread the pepperoni slices, letting them clump, and failed to stuff the crust, letting it ooze all over the actual pizza. The delivery took far too long! I don't blame the deliveryman for that, but the switchboard operator and the shift manager of the store that it was sent to.

Overall, a bad experience that left a poor taste in my mouth. Even worse...

Ordered for delivery. Waited over an hour and finally called the number to see what was up. Number sends you straight to corporate, who says our pizza is listed as won’t be delivered for another hour! Corporate guy calls the local shop, because pizza should never take 2 hours, and three tries later they never pick up his call. He leaves them a message to call us. They never call. After a total wait time of OVER two hours the pizza finally arrives and it’s obvious it’s been out for delivery for most, or all, of that time. The boxes both appeared wet, we assume from the build up of steam, the pizza was cold and the crust was all wrong. Tasted bad and the texture was way off, also possibly from sitting for so long in the delivery car. We never heard from the Pizza Hut. Driver dropped the pizza at door and took off but we managed to ask what happened. He just said they were backed up and short drivers. That’s fine, it happens, but at least have the curtesy to warn customers if their pizza is going to take over two hours to get to them! We’d of ordered it for pickup or gone somewhere else.
