Unfortunately, my recent experience at Wendy's left much to be desired in terms of both food quality and service. While Wendy's is known for its fast food and affordable menu, this visit fell far below expectations.
Food Quality The food was underwhelming and lacked freshness. The burger I ordered was poorly assembled, with wilted lettuce and a patty that tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long. The fries were soggy and lacked the crispiness Wendy’s usually advertises. Even the drink seemed off, with a watered-down flavor.
Service Experience The service was equally disappointing. The staff appeared disorganized, and my order took much longer than expected, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. When the food finally arrived, parts of my order were missing, and I had to wait even longer to get the issue resolved.
Cleanliness and Atmosphere The cleanliness of the restaurant was another issue. Several tables were dirty, and the trash bins were overflowing. It made the dining experience less pleasant and gave an overall impression of poor management.
Value for Money While fast food is meant to be affordable, the low quality of food and service made this meal feel like a waste of money. There are better options out there for similar prices.
Final Thoughts Wendy’s has the potential to offer quick and satisfying meals, but this visit fell far short of expectations. This is from the manager of the store in Temple Terrace, Florida this afternoon. No apologies, unless you consider flailing your hands around an apology in a language other than English when I called her out on her behavior. I’m sure that she is in the lead for Ms. Customer Service 2015.
Thank you Wendy’s for keeping me on my diet. I could have ordered from you, but I think the fact that you could not take my order – when I attempted to order, the manager shouted “$5.71” at me. I guess with the newly remodeled store, the manager might have been confused about how to use the microphones. As I waited patiently for her to finish her conversation with those inside, she kindly let me know I could order by stating, “I’m waiting for you to order.” Making another attempt, again there was noise from the inside. I again patiently waited until she said, “Maybe you didn’t hear me, I AM WAITING FOR YOU TO ORDER.”
At that point, I drove around to the window, because I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt that perhaps she was having microphone issues. Unapologetic, she stated, “You must not have heard me when I told you I was ready.”
I would expect someone with zero customer service experience or someone with anti-social tendencies to act like this. Given that this was the manager, I’d suggest steering clear of this establish entirely until they get a top-down attitude adjustment. ...
Read moreThis restaurant is normally good in making the orders in a timely manner but tonight was an example of negligence. A Wendy's close by had a power outage which caused the store to close temporarily.
We drove to this current restaurant and was told over the drive thru that systems just went down and that they'd be back up in 10 minutes. We waited 10 minutes and called for an update. No response. Waited another minute with no answer. Waited 1 more minute with no answer before I got frustrated and left. I passed by the window with no one behind it and looked through the larger set in the front with no one behind the counter or in the kitchen. This caused for a line to pile up behind with cars leaving or staying. I left to a near by restaurant open and while waiting for that one I saw the line for this Wendy's Doubled in length but still didn't see too much movement.
This was late by around 10:30 pm but it was still operating. I have no issue patiently waiting for something they can't control but with how it was handled I have a hard time believing that. Expectations were not met which doesn't set well. Im giving this restaurant two stars only because the times that I have received any order I had minimal to no issues but tonights situation did not help...
