Best Quality Meat & BBQ — Restaurant in Temple

Insanely quick service, cordial staff and lovely meat. The turkey was so juicy, the green beans were seasoned throughly and still had stock (not dry) and the Mac n cheese was addicting. Everything tasted fresh, natural, and beautiful. As for the meals, they even give you some bread on the side and extra pickles and onions per request.

Lots of uncultured people on here in the Google reviews claiming they “don’t season enough” … well, they literally leave out big bottles of seasonings on the tables for you if it’s not enough.

However, good chefs understand good cooking is about simplicity, when you have too many different seasonings you distract the natural flavor of the food.

The prices were great too, $33 for two big plates of meat and sides as well as a drink. As far as inflation and considering the meats are of genuine quality I believe this is beyond reasonable.

Would most certainly recommend this place to anyone...

This is by far the best place to eat fresh BBQ in all of Texas and I have traveled near and far trying different BBQ places... Lol is all I can say!! Best Quality BBQ'S every single day the meats seasoned with their mixture of special spices that make your mouth water as soon as your nose smells the smoked goodness Mmmm it melts in your mouth and makes you want to come back for more!!! Their meat is beautiful just the right amount of fat to make the meat tender and juicy, they have just about any kind of meat you could ant and if they don't have it on hand give them a minute and I bet they send someone to the field to get it... Lol their prices just can't be beat for fresh meat or BBQ, the owner is always on site shoot they even got pictures of famous people that have come there to eat. Previously, a friend introduced me to this establishment and I had a 'trash plate' which I found quite satisfactory (7/10). On February 8th, 2024, with a desire to expand my palate, I ventured in personally to further explore their offerings. Upon entry, I was met with a level of customer service that left much to be desired, lacking the warmth one anticipates. Recognizing that the service industry has its ebbs and flows, I endeavored to engage with the attendant, who, regrettably, seemed disinterested to the point of disregarding my greeting.
