This is Terre Haute’s second ‘diveyist’ (is that a word?) taco joint. Sure it’s looks pretty sketchy but they always do well on health inspections. The food is cheap and fast and in no way whatsoever authentic Mexican. My only real complaint is that the default taco has a crunchy shell. Everyone knows that a taco is made with a soft tortilla, but here you have to ask for a ‘soft taco’ or you will get one of those tortilla chip like crunchy shells that break into 20 pieces as soon as you take a bite. Long live Taco Casita!

This place is so good! It's a must try if you are traveling. There used to be one on 3rd street. But they closed it. Its worth the drive though. They are a small business. They do not deliver, doordash, Uber eats. They probably a good thing the food doesn't travel well. The inside has looked the same probably since they opened. But you don't go here for the aesthetics. When ever someone tells me there have never ate there it blows my mind!

This local legend is fast, tasty, and utterly unsophistocated. The counter-service Americanized Mexican menu is small, simple, and cheap. There is absolutely nothing fancy or refined about this place, and no one minds. Service is limited but almost always super friendly. Prices are cheap and portions are good. It's not authentic Mexican, but it's fun and delicious. I grew up on it and always stop by when I'm in town.

I have been eating at this restaurant since middle school and am 61 years old so for around 49 years. We had friends who had moved out of state who would stop to eat here and one of my son's friends comes here with his girlfriend from Indy because they loved the food. No longer. The food is not as good, including the flour tortillas having changed, order wait time has increased, staff rudeness is at an all time high and orders are chronically incorrect. When you try to notify them about errors in your order, the employee returns your call after hours and screams at you that "she won't put up being spoken to in that tone nor will she be yelled at" when you try to calmly and rationally explain the many errors they made in your foods preparation while people sitting next to you look aghast because you haven't raised your voice nor been rude nor used coarse language. Then when you leave a message that you need to talk to a manager the next day, you don't receive a return call. I will never eat at Taco Casita again as long as I live. The food is no longer the same quality as before and orders are...

What can you say about Taco casita? It is pretty much the secret of the locals here in town. There is nowhere else in Terre Haute where you can get that much food for such a cheap price. Now let's admit it, it maybe is not the best food in the world, but it is definitely the best value for the price. What I really like about the food is that it stays in me long enough for me to get home and get to the bathroom before it explodes out. That is a nice touch. Something that Long John Silver's usually fails to do. But if you want to have some decent food on a small budget, this is definitely the place to go. Now sometimes it seems like some of the people that work in there are pretty shady, but as long as they wash their hands before they make my taco I don't care what they do in their private life. My sister accidentally blew up their bathroom yesterday too, so I just want to apologize to the nice lady that had to clean that out. It was unfortunate that they did not have a plunger in the bathroom, but the lady was nice about having to clean up the mess. Overall, we were very pleased with...

I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit. When I requested a change to my order due to the menu prices not accurately reflecting the total after tax, the employee at the front counter made inappropriate and unprofessional comments about me.

Additionally, another staff member in the back loudly exclaimed “Oh my God” in frustration, clearly upset at having to fulfill my order. I was then handed three broken tacos and charged for a drink I explicitly said I did not want. The food itself was subpar and overpriced, and despite asking for hot sauce, I was given what tasted like a sweet, mild version — if it was even hot sauce at all.

Overall, this was an incredibly unprofessional experience. Your staff displayed a lack of courtesy, respect, and attention to detail. I strongly urge you to address these issues immediately and consider hiring individuals who represent your business with professionalism and patience — otherwise, you risk losing loyal customers...
