November 16, 2024. Still loving everything about this restaurant. My husband picked up our orders around 6pm and I'll make 3-4 meals from my delicious ORANGE CHICKEN on a combination plate. Love their egg rolls and fried rice.

We live close, and this is our go-to place for great tasting, reasonably priced, generous portions of Chinese food. For those reviewers who complain about "corn in the egg drop soup" PLEASE READ THE MENU. They do not offer egg drop soup. They sell Velvet Corn Soup. Google the names and recipes. Personally, I love their fried rice. Not all fried rice has egg in it, and I don't mind. Their egg rolls are fabulous, and when I ask for their house made mustard, they include a lot. My husband LOVES that. Getting more tonight.

UPDATE April 2021: I've been craving Panda Inn, as has my husband, so we ordered takeout for lunch. I had never had their Orange Chicken before, so I ordered that. My husband wanted shredded beef. Both were ordered on a combination, with fried rice and an egg roll. Wow. The orange chicken is GREAT IMHO. My husband loves his shredded beef, and their house mustard is really a cravable favorite for him. As usual, we have enough for at least two more meals. I want...

Update February 2019. This resteraunt is open 7 days a week.

My husband has been working on kitchen plumbing, so we ordered two meals each, and two orders of egg rolls. The huge portions will last us each for a few days. One of the dishes I ordered I'd not had before, and oh, golly it's great! Almond chicken with vegetables is SO wonderful! The vegetables are perfectly crisp-tender, the chicken is tender and juicy. Anyone who disparages their egg rolls is nutz. Some of the best you'll ever eat. My husband got roast pork and snow peas, and I also got my fall-back Sesame chicken. So love their food and wonderful service. Very nice folks.

We LOVE Panda Inn. Moved into the neighborhood 18 years ago, and have enjoyed them ever since. The food is GREAT and we've eaten nearly the entire menu. The "to go" portions are insanely huge... I can make four meals from one sesame chicken combination. Hint: They will make any entree into a "combination" (with egg roll and fried rice) for a bit more in price. Staff are wonderful, price for what you get is very reasonable. I just wish, wish, wish they still served Wor Shu duck. Theirs was my favorite in the world, but they quit serving it...

Amazing!!! So far on my #1 spot in SA where I can get delicious fried rice and my favorite which I haven't seen anywhere else Pineapple Chicken, so much of it and so much flavor in a single plate! Their portions are TX sized, egg rolls are delicious and big with a lot of tasty vegetables and pork filling. I frequently eat from buffets but, I can normally eat less than half of their plates all for a very reasonable price! (At the time of this review $15+tax for a plate). Very friendly lady welcomes you as well as takes orders to go over the phone. At the time I go the dining area is closed (11-2:30pm is takeout ONLY). Pineapple Chicken is very well cooked, juicy dark meat portions with the citrusy pineapple flavor infused, mild spiciness added to enhance and sweet chunks of cooked pineapple. The fried rice is not dry nor too sticky, with enhanced beef flavor, some vegetables added as well as some beef chunks, doesn't have the "traditional" soy taste to it, but more like a home cooked fried rice with beef broth. Highly recommend for...

Don't eat here!!! We let the server know it was our first time here. There hot and sour soup was white and thick (see pic, top left soup). Never seen a white thick hot and sour soup. First clue. I ordered lemon chicken. Figured I'd keep it simple. Chicken, fried rice looked old and lemon sauce was cold and the food had a funny smell. We have eaten at many Chinese restaurants and this by far was the worst one. Service was terrible from the older lady who seemed like the owner and said that's what hot and sour soup looks like. We didn't want to take a chances on eating their left over dumpster food. No wonder there was only one couple in the place for dinner service. If I could give negative stars, I would.

This place is a gold mine of delicious food. The beef chop suey is probably the thing I’d request as my last meal, no joke. It’s ultra slivered cabbage, celery & onions just made the dish perfection. The sauce was full of flavor, just the right consistency & matched the beef seasoning. Let’s not even forget the eggroll that was the size of a small newborn. The aromatic flavor of the sprouts really levels up the eggroll. The second dish (can’t recall the name of as I’m still dreaming of my leftovers) was a bounty of beef & veggies atop pan cooked noodles. Also a 10/10 and very well seasoned. Not pictured are the crab rangoons - large & generously filled so it’ll take more than 2 bites to finish one off.
