The Side Street Bar — Restaurant in Terrell

Sully & the Savage . Sat October 14 /. 17 at the side street. This side street is a quite a nice place. Chigger is one hell of a bartender she's a fun person and they always have some form of live music on weekends. They serve mixed drinks beer wine. Just off of Moore Street in Terrell just before the tracks. If you go in tell chigger Bill said hi For those that like my review of Sully in the Savages at the side street bar. On November 3rd 2018 Sally and his new band will be playing at the side street bar. It's all new and knowing Sully it will be one of lively band. The side street bar has been bought out and has a new owner. She is not much on the way of fun. She owns several locations in Dallas called The liquid zoo. and she's trying to run the side street bar like it's a Dallas nightclub for gays. I have friends that are gay and like the side street like it was just a nice place to hang out and listen to music and have a few drinks. and maybe step out back for a safety meeting with no problems. The new owner charges $10 for a long neck $5 for a draft beer and doesn't like safety meetings in fact last week's open mic night she called the cops on him for having a safety meeting outside. Apparently the owner is a snitch and can't be trusted. so I suggest if you're looking to have a good time on a Tuesday evening don't go to the side street. The open mic night has been moved to The swinging door. The swinging door promises to Dollar longnecks 50 cent drafts and they will open the pool tables so you don't have to pay to play pool while listening to the music. all the gang that come in the play their music and sing and have a good time will be now at The swinging door starting tonight. I will be going tonight to listen to the music and review The swinging door Sally and some of the 5o ones will probably be there along with members of Sully new band. Jericho Hayes they played on the 3rd of November at the side Street. Shelly and the gang will never ever be back at the side street bar so if you happen to like his music check him out down at the swinging door tonight. Sincerely felonious...

Nice place for a private bar. Not too loud, opens in the middle of the afternoon before people get off from their regular day jobs. I forgot the name of the bar tender who served me and a couple of other guys last night, but he had quite a few good stories to keep us entertained for a little bit. And the drinks were reasonably priced too (that being a first for me). Definitely plan on going back another day for another tab. Only con about the place is that it is cash only, but thankfully they do have an ATM...
