I'm going to start off with the cashier, he seemed like he didn't want to be there working and when I came in he was on his phone. Place my order. Asked for a Chicken Caesar salad with warm chicken, no croutons, buffalo sauce on the side and extra dressing. Got charged extra. Drink and a slice. While waiting decided to use the ladies room. The toilets weren't clean at all. So the cashier that was just stabding there on his phone could have been cleaning. Then waited for my food. Food was ready. They didn't give me thw extra dressing I had asked for. When I had requested it. The cashier asked the back person for one. The back person that looks like a "SHIFT LEADER" always gives an attitude when asking for extra or anything at all. But if I paid for it, I should get it and not an attitude. Usually comes with a bread stick. Didn't come with it this time. I get to my salad. The chicken was STONED COLD, clearly wasn't warmed up. And since I don't want to deal with the rude cashier and rude back person. I'm stuck eating a nasty cold chicken salad. Wasn't like my food was cheap either. Definetly didn't get what I paid for. Read moreI was really disappointed today when delivery from here was passed over to Doordash. By the time the DoorDash driver picked up the food and dropped it off all the hot food was cold, and the salad I ordered had clearly been on top of the other food/was wilted despite that (maybe stored improperly when it was still warm?)The initial estimate for delivery was also off by almost a half hour, which I assume was related to all of the above.
It isn’t a great move on the part of management to be outsourcing deliveries because it’s inviting more of this, which is why I wanted to make a point of leaving a review. Hopefully it’s just because they’re short on staff and this isn’t a permanent change moving forward. Because it would impact whether I continue ordering from them...
Read moreFirst time at a Papa Gino’s since they shuttered most of them. I miss it but this location was not up to standard. Pizza was lukewarm but tasty. Cheesesteak was as great as I remember but bread was cold and undercooked. Restaurant was clean but smelled of antiseptic cleaner. Staff looked unhappy, no cashier for awhile, and food took a long time to come out. There’s potential here if it wasn’t so corporate and uninviting. All it needs is more love and care.
Too bad management will read this and blame the employees. I would bet morale is super low after they closed so many locations. And probably no budget. They need to do something radical to turn things around. Make it more homemade or “neighborhood”...
