My family and I decided to take my father to Texas Roadhouse for his birthday dinner , we ordered 177$ worth of food after we was done eating our dinner the table was ready to pay for the food , our waiter Caleb came to the table to assist with the payments I tipped Caleb cash for his service after I tipped Caleb I asked if we could go ahead and pay for our food , he insisted if we was paying with card to use the kiosk at the table which was no problem . My tab alone was 100$ Caleb picks up the kiosk and finds my ticket and show me my amount so as he pick the 100$ tab I asked if they had Apple Pay I pull out my phone and tap my phone on the kiosk to pay . As we gather our items to leave Caleb comes back to the table to tell me that my payment was partially paid, I asked how ? He told me that it was a glitch in the system maybe . So he leaves the table go get his manger and comes back and say yes it only took partial , so o ask if he could have the manager to come talk to me about what’s going on . She never came to the table so another employee asks me if I needed the manager I said yes please so the manager Cierra finally comes to the table and tells me yes your payment partially went through . I show her on my phone that the whole payment was taken off my phone . She insisted that I pay the remaining payment and not wake me what was going on she gets real sassy with me and tell me to lower my tones as I was explaining what was going on . She didn’t want to hear what I had to say and continue to ask me to pay the remaining balance. I ask her so ma’am I have to pay twice ? She said yes because you payed partial of your tab and tipped the waiter 44$ off the card . I said no ma’am that’s not what was pose to happen I tipped him cash and wanted to pay my 100$ tab off my card which is why I used Apple Pay (tap) so she tells me I canceled the payment and it should refund in a couple of days . I wasn’t understanding why I was charged 44.50 in a tip and the rest of the 38 and change off my card . She don’t care about what was going on she just wanted me to pay the payment that was remaking so I actually paid 160$ in total because of the employee tipping himself off my card and taking the 20$ tip in cash as well . But I will never go back the service was poor...

My family came in on Saturday 9/7/24 and Lilly at the hostess stand had the worst behavior I have ever seen in the food/service industry. The line was long, our family had 6 members one which was checking in with another hostess and Lilly proceeds to yell with a major attitude and bug eyes "I SAID I can get whoever is next" rolling her eyes and giving rude gestures. Can you say lack of patience?!?! My gosh you had to repeat yourself ONE time. With the several people in the doorway (several other parties included) incredibly loud music and a line because you're too busy gossiping, it makes it hard to hear and you could've gotten us to our table way sooner. 2 full days later and I still am flabbergasted at the service we received from her. She needs a crash course on patience and customer service and almost does not need to be in the roll she is in. What an embarrassment to that location honestly. We spoke to the manager about this so am curious to know if anything comes of this.
Our server was great! But... the 3 steaks we ordered all came back wrong. I ordered medium and got near well done, and the other two were over cooked. By the time the new ones came back our sides were cold. I do not think this was the servers fault. The manager came back and said the "kitchen was struggling" understandable but 3 steaks at one table wrong?? No compensation at all by the manager was wild to me but we were so ready to get out of there it wasn't worth asking.
The music was also considerably louder than normal which made my brother in law who struggles with major sensory issues with autism have a panic attack causing him to be sick and have to leave. When there's already a couple hundred people yelling in the place, 3+ birthday yellings within 20 minutes on top of the music just BLARING, its overwhelming to people without sensory issues!
I love love love Texas Roadhouse but not sure I will return to this location based on the horrible service given by the hostess, 3 wrong steaks and an incredibly loud...
Read moreMyself and my family have been going here every weekend for the last 3 months. Originally, we had great service and a great meal. However, the visits in the last 6 weeks have been pretty bad. The most recent visit was on Father's Day. We were seated at a table with an A/C leak that dripped over my head, food, and drink. When we advised the manager, young girl with long ponytail, she had one of her tall crew members come to our table, stand on the table and booth seat and place a rag under the leak (over head). Needless to say, this did not solve the problem and it continued to eventually drip all over myself, my plate and beverage again. When asked to be re-seated, she advised us they had a full restaurant and there was no where else to seat us. She was not accommodating nor empathetic. We ended up cutting our losses and left. The management is not the best at this restaurant. Another issue is all of their glass/plastic dividers that were put up during Covid are never cleaned. There are finger prints and God knows what all over them and all over the beer mirrors and signs hung on the walls. I was advised by another "manager" who is male, that the cleaning person comes in once a week, on Thursdays, and cleans them. I was also advised the waitstaff does not clean them before the restaurant opens or after the restaurant closes in the evening. The waitstaff actually refuses to clean them. I can't wrap my head around that. Very poor management and restaurant cleanliness in the open eating areas are not disinfected and cleaned daily. I don't even want to think what the kitchen must look like. Disgraceful. Do better Texas Roadhouse!!! Side Note, Kraft Macaroni and Cheese for a side is also a big thumbs down. On the plus side, their fresh rolls, cinnamon butter and their salads are superb!
