I am a HUGE Dunkin fan. I am a regular of the 9th street store. The service, quality and food provided there are inconsistent at best. The staff is nice and friendly, but can't be accused of paying much attention to detail or being very speedy. I often bypass in favor of Starbucks a short distance farther down 9th street. I don't like their coffee much, but their items and service are consistent. Today was a lovely example of a disappointment. I waited in line, placed my usual coffee and bagel order. When I got to the window the very nice staff took my card, handed me my bag and rang me up. Then he handed me my coffee. From experience I took a quick sip, all I got was foam and the cup felt hot as I expected so mindful of the folks behind me, I pulled forward only to get struck by an odd taste in my mouth and looking over, seeing green foam on my cup top. I swung back around, waited for the 4 cars ahead of me, told the staff I got the wrong beverage which was known apparently... when I got to the window I tried to hand back the wrong drink "Can't take it Coronavirus", (meanwhile of the 4 workers I saw inside the masks were in various stages of on, half on, pulled down). Okay I get that, so I pour it out and set empty cup aside in my car (yay, trash). I get handed what is apparently my original drink ... which has sat and it felt lukewarm, I tasted it and it was indeed barely lukewarm - which meant it clearly had not been full hot when made. I asked if it could be heated... "No Cornoavirus" okay, but... .I paid $4 for cold coffee and have now wasted 15 minutes on the process of a "quick stop to grab coffee". UGH. I advised that it was lukewarm and received "sorry, that is how hot it gets". UM< no, it has sat for about 7 minutes and it shoudl not be luke warm at this point. NOTE: I always order extra hot because if I do not, they pull the milk out from under the steamer process too quickly. Asking for it extra hot seems to allow them to leave it under the steamer longer to actually get hot.... and I end up with a regular hot drink. I explained that he said "No, my manager says it only ever gets as hot as it gets". Knowing from experience that not to be true, but also being again mindful of the folks behind me who were waiting, I gave up and figure to nuke it (lovely) when I got to the office. Which I did. I opened my bagel bag, pulled out the bagel and saw a wad of napkins at the bottom. (See picture) this was not a wad of "folded up" napkins, that happens, this was clearly a wad of used napkins. I am guessing that the worker used the napkins to perhaps pull the bagel and hold why they applied cream cheese, then tossed into the bag and the wrapped and tossed bagel on top. I wonder if it was the worker with or without gloves on? With or without mask on? UGH...I pulled them out, (see pick) they definitely appear to be used. One other thing. I decided to stop on Saturday to get a coffee on my way home. I pulled up and all the lights were off, the open sign was off, the inside was dark. I know that their hours went at least until 5 and it was only about 3 pm. I drove around, got no greeting, spoke to the menu board and said "Are you open?" I received a response, ordered. When I got to the window I told the staff "it looked like you were closed, all your lights are off and your open sign is not lit up". She responded that the lobby was closed. I suggested that a sign that says "Lobby is closed but we are open" and turning on the open sign would likely get her more business. I can't recall if she responded but she did not seem to be enthused to have that feedback. BTW I ordered extra hot and got the expected regular hot, unfortunately when I tasted it heading home my "Caramel Macchiato" had no apparent caramel and some sort of cinnamon yuck. wasted $5. I want so much to love the Dunkins in Kalamazoo. I used to live very close to the one at Westnedge and Whites road. Same issues there, many have the same feeling and similar experiences I do. It is a shame. I wish DD could train better.

I don’t usually like to leave negative reviews but this was a new low. I could tell the person handing the food over was frustrated, not sure what about, but no biggie. I said have a good day before leaving and they just turned around. Okay, bad day maybe? Get home and check my food to find it wasn’t even heated up.. I only ordered a grilled cheese with bacon added on, and they didn’t even put the bacon on it. I guess I just happened to catch them on a bad day but this is still not acceptable.. the food isn’t cheap and this was supposed to be a treat for myself after work. I’ve had this happen before here but I just let it go, but not this time. I will not be ordering food here again, wasted $6 for a grilled cheese, or I guess just cheese sandwich since it wasn’t even grilled or cooked. But hey, the coffee was good though, so thank you for that at least.

I ordered through the GrubHub app. I was highly disappointed in the store! I ordered four sausage, egg and cheese wraps.. I didn't get the sausage. The tators were smashed and cold. The brown thing in the picture is a double chocolate donut with chocolate frosting... Just dropped to the bottomed of the bag. :/ I called the store and the girl on the phone said there is NOTHING they can do. I got on GrubHub and requested a refund. They only refunded HALF of what I paid. I won't be ordering from this location anymore! 🤬

I only ever get delivery or do drive thru runs here - mostly delivery. I'm a regular and order about 1-2x a month or more.

The one consistent problem when ordering online is, oddly enough, the donuts. The donuts of the order will be either missing entirely (even if it's a half dozen!), or they'll be completely different from what was ordered. When I order these online, I just tell myself, "I probably won't actually get these, but hey, it's worth a try!"

Drinks, hot sandwiches and other side dishes are never missing in comparison! It's always just the donuts. It's even happened at the drive thru more than once, so now we're in the habit of checking the bag then and there before driving off.

To be honest it doesn't bother me too much - grubhub is easygoing with the refunds, so it is what it is. It's just bizarre for a place that is literally donut based to forget the main part of the order so frequently.

That being said the quality is always good and I like to come here to order in person on Sundays to have breakfast at the park down the road.

The workers there are ALWAYS friendly and kind, I'll give them that. One time many months ago, our donuts were missing as usual so we had to drive back, and the guy gave us an extra donut as an apology. I wish I could remember his name, because THAT gesture is what good customer service...

Watched the employee take our order from my husband. He had one gloved hand and one bare. With the bare hand he unashamedly rubbed/wiped his nostrils for a solid ten seconds. Not the back of his hand, but with his palm and underside of his fingers. I waited and continued watching because he could still have used his gloved hand to make the coffees… but he didn’t. He palmed the rim of our cups with the bare nostrily hand… and then palmed our lids with his bare hand. There was no way around asking for him to put on fresh gloves and give us new lids, and telling him how I didn’t want whatever was on his nostrils to end up in my mouth. I don’t think he loved hearing about what he did, but he complied and gave us clean lids. Hopefully he learned something and minds his hands more thoughtfully while preparing other people’s food and drinks. Unfortunately, based on the disgusting condition of the women’s restroom and other reviews here, it’s possible neither the employees nor management here respect basic hygiene and cleanliness, because both things are easy to prevent with just an...
