BBQ Grill People — Restaurant in Texas

We ordered a grill and paid in full on 5/28 with a promised delivery date on 6/1 as the salesperson told us they had them in their warehouse and it would take a few days to get to us. Each week we called when the delivery date passed with no grill we received another delivery date and as of today 6/23 the grill has not been delivered despite getting another reassurance from Ryan stating the latest we would get the grill was on 6/22. Last week was the first time we heard the grill was on back order from their manufacturer and they didn't have any of the grills in stock when they sold the grill to us with a delivery date of 6/1. Completely, get that the manufacturer is now delayed because of Covid-19 but the sale of the grill was made misrepresenting the facts the they had the grill in stock and would get it to us on 6/1. Today I called and Ryan who is is the sales rep now new store manager since the David the previous manager quit said he has to call the manufacturer to see what is the new delivery date. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!

Update on 6/26/20: The same day 6/23/20 I posted the original review Ryan called and stated they are unable to provide a date when the grill would be available due to manufacturer delay as they are not being able to get metal from China to make the grill. We told them to refund our money in full. We are still pending our full refund from them. We found the same exact grill on Amazon on 6/23/20. YES! Amazon has Blaze Grills! Mike was absolutely amazing. We came in today with a pre-existing design we had from our pool builder and equipment already selected/recommended for an outdoor kitchen. We came in to look at grills to add onto our design. After talking with Mike and his team, we left today with a completely new design, better equipment and outdoor appliances we feel much more comfortable with that is going to make our kitchen look amazing and stand the test of time. He was knowledgeable, took his time with us and extremely honest on what was worth spending the dollars on vs what he wouldn’t recommend. He even offered to come over to our house to teach us how to use our new pellet grill once it is installed. Would recommend them to anyone considering having any outdoor kitchen installed. A few weeks ago we were on the market for a full set appliances for the new outdoor kitchen that we are building. I did my research online then decided to go to the store as well and see the products. The moment we stepped into the store Todd was exceptional, we started with baby steps explaining the pros and cons, based on his experience, for each item that we were looking for. At no point he tried to upsell, he listened to our wants/needs and lead us to a product that would match everything and deliver what we needed. After this experience we had to purchase everything in store, the prices were very competitive, the same as other reputable online stores. I don't have enough words to express how grateful we are to Todd for his help and sharing it with us. I have no doubt that my next BBQ Grill purchase will be at BBQ Grill People ....
