June 11, 2021 We finally got back to give Big City Wings a second chance. Saturday approximately 5:00pm. Order: 25 Wings (3 flavors), 2 dinner salads, and 2 beverages. Our waitress was very Friendly and attentive. Order was served without delay and the wings were hot. Salads were good and the wings were excellent. No Complaints. With the service we received today, we will be back and it will be sooner than 7 months.
I tried to respond to the "Response from the Owner" below but the email address appears to not be valid. Tried twice and it bounced back twice. Date Was May 08, 2021, we arrived at 1:00 and sat on the Patio. _ Original Post 05/08/2021 Wings, Rings, and Mushrooms had good flavor, the rest not so good. We arrived at 1:00 on Saturday, place was pretty empty, seated outside. Ordered a 1/2 Onion Ring 1/2 Fried Mushrooms basket. ($2.00 up-charge for special order & $1.00 up-charge for both Ranch & Blue Cheese dressing). Took +15 minutes to get the appetizers and the basket was barely 1/2 full. Good Flavor, disappointed quantity. Ordered two 10 piece wing baskets, both with salads. 30 minutes after receiving or appetizers, waiter came out saying the kitchen burnt our wings and they had to cook another batch. 5 minutes later our waited arrived with our salads. It appears they rinse their lettuce but do not know how to drain. We both had 2+ teaspoons of water in the bottom of our salad bowls. Another 20 minutes and our wings finally arrive. It is now after 2:00. 3 tables that arrived after us have been seated, ordered, eaten, and left in time it took us to get our order. 2 of those also ordered desserts. When the waiter told us the kitchen burned our wings, we expressed or frustration regarding the wait, he briefly apologized and walked away. When he picked up the salad bowls and I showed him all the water in the bottom of the bowl, it was a blank stare and "sorry". When he brought the check, we went over how disappointed we were with our dining experience and asked to speak to a manager. It is now 2:30. The waiter left with the check. Returning a couple minutes later saying the Appetizers had been taking off and again apologized for all the delays but no manager. This was our first visit and the food we ate was good but over 1.5 hours was a little ridiculous. We sat 20 minutes before I asked to speak to manager. Waitress attending us apparently lost our order after 5 minutes and after giving her our order again she came back another 5 minutes later to advise us that her manager had taken her off our table and she didnāt know who our server was? I asked her to get me the manage on duty to escalate this unfortunate situation. Another 5-10 minutes passed and no manager came to visit our table. Frustrated I had to get up from my seat and look for the manager. Again, manager went to go look for waitress to see what had happened. That manager then came to our table to get our order (3rd time) and apologized for experience. Another 5-10 minutes passed and our drinks were dropped off by manager. Minutes later another manager stopped by our table to get our appetizer order apparently to pay for our appetizers. I politely and upset advised him that I didnāt want free food and that it had been close to 40 minutes since we placed our initial order and not even appetizers had reached our table yet. I also advised him that we (my wife and I) were super hungry too , to which he just looked at me while he walked away. Itās now been 46 minutes and out appetizers just got delivered by first manager.
Simply disgusting service. We are frequent patrons of this restaurant due to its food, environment and great service. Today is as busier as I ever since, and unfortunately our experience was ruined after 5 minutes of being here.
Looking for accountability and giving feedback to try to avoid this from happening to other existing and new patrons.

I get home to eat my meal and Iām met with overcooked, bad quality, sour tasting chicken. I called to request a refund and Iām told that I could get a remake⦠which I appreciate, but respectfully didnāt feel like would mend the situation. Iād much rather just have my money back. I declined the offer and asked for a refund. A pretty reasonable thing to want, right? Especially for bad tasting food.
The lady on the phone then gives me a sigh and tells me I can get a refund, but makes it sound like Iām a monster for wanting such a thing. Iām then told āNext time you should pick it up faster. You took too long to get here.ā No accountability whatsoever. I arrived within minutes of my food being ready. It should NOT have been that bad if you claim that the food sits in a warmer or whatever. Iām not asking for much. A little empathy and responsibility goes a long way. A customer should never feel as if theyāre in the wrong for something thatās clearly a kitchen issue.
I also work in customer service. I know the spill. I know what makes people mad. Thatās what this felt like. Pointing the blame to avoid accountability and make someone pissed off. You canāt bs to me and tell me that wasnāt what you were trying to do. Unprofessional. Girl needs some customer service coaching. I wonāt be coming back to...
