The Pho Spoon — Restaurant in Humble

I was so excited when this place opened to have a good option for pho in this area. I've ordered from there twice times and have been very happy with the eggrolls, pho, and pork banh mi, but the shaken beef wasn't great. However, the issue here isn't the food but the customer service, more specifically the woman who takes orders over the phone who I thought was the owner or manager. I just called to place a to-go order and I gave her my order and then she asked if I was actually going to pick up my order this time. I said yes and she said "well you didn't last time and I kept calling you and had to throw away your order." I was so confused because this has absolutely never happened so I asked when and she said "last time you ordered because I remember your name." I told her I've ordered from them a few times and really enjoy the good and would never do that to which she replied "well you did." I have never done this and was so extremely disappointed and angry to have someone speak to me like that and I will never order from there again. Clearly she is not great at her job and can't keep track of orders since she accused the wrong customer and she has very poor customer service skills. Needless to say, I canceled my order right then. I absolutely do not recommend. I don't leave bad ratings but would give a negative 5 stars if possible. Do not waste your time...

Placed a pickup order thru doordash and I didn't check it until I made it to my next destination which was in the same shopping strip. I ordered the shrimp vermicelli and instead of getting vermicelli I received white rice. I went back and the lady at the counter was more than willing to correct the order. But if you have been here before then u will know that if u are standing at the counter u can see directly into the kitchen. She took my order to the lady preparing the food and explained. She came back and said it will be a couple of minutes and to have a seat. I sat at the table in front of the counter with my back turned towards the kitchen. I turned around to see if it was ready and what I witnessed disgusted me to the fullest. The lady preparing my food was using her bare hands to place the food into the togo containers. They way it was done proved to me this is what she does all the time. When the lady from the counter brought me my food I explained to her that I actually saw her cook using her bare hands to prepare my food and explained how unsanitary that is. She immediately went to the cook and told her what I saw and that I wanted a fresh plate. The cook appeared with gloves on but I think the public should be made known of this practice. So tonight we decided to go back here cause our first time in was amazing the food was great the service was A+ !!!! Sadly that wasn’t the case tonight the food was still great but the service was lacking .. there was a younger lady in there tonight and a young man the man was nice but the girl wasn’t when we sat we asked for limes she never brought it after saying yes and let me remind you there was only us a five top and two other tables . So there for there was no need to be to busy to forget !! So we asked the other person and he brought us 3 limes for 4 soups two which were large bowls 😑 when asking for more he gave us attitude!! Then we got the rice and meat combos which on the menu said it came with a spring roll and pho we didn’t receive either and when we asked about it they said that wasn’t what we ordered wen clearly it was cause we asked for no chives in the pho 😐 then towards the end we needed one Togo cup for the soup when trying to ask the girl she completely ignored us went back behind the counter and just sat there so we had to go up front and ask for one .. over all the food is great but they need to get better workers or it’ll go down fast mainly in this area...
