TOTAL $64.19 I just had the worst experience ever! I ordered a Red Velvet Cake Cheesecake and a whole bunch of other items for my husband's birthday, and we didn't receive the cake. When we went back to get it, I saw a young man handling our cake with hands he used after touching the register without replacing the gloves. It was a total turn-off. I declined the replacement and asked for a refund. The young man then said it's not his problem, and he will not be refunding the purchase. He told me to call the number on the receipt, which we did, and the number leads right back to the store. We still want our money back for a purchase we never received.
To make matters worse, there was also a woman who came to the drive-thru window and then asked us to leave the drive-thru and go around to the front to help us. We declined because that would have made our second go-around and another wait for 10 minutes or so since the first encounter with their employee suggested we go around and wait, which we did for the sake of their customers, and which he never showed up. This is all about integrity, and we deserve a fair resolution to this situation. Let's also mention, they called the police because we wanted out money back. Read moreI drove all the way from the south west side to pick up food since this was the closest. It had been awhile since we've eaten captain ds since we dont have one close... but I've been wanting it so I took the 45 min drive to get a family meal for dinner. Got home to find that the fish, hushpuppies and funnel stix were VERY overcooked. It was so hard we couldnt even bite on the crust of the fish or we'd break a tooth. We literally had to peel a lot of the rock solid parts off. It was so bad. We got the fries as a side and those were undercooked. Cold and hard like they rushed them out and didnt cook them all the way. I would even say they werent even halfway cooked. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience at any other location like we had tonight. So this was very very disappointing since I was wanting it so bad. The over cooked fish and hushpuppies were so dry because of how overcooked it was and then we couldn't even eat the fries or the funnel stix. The stix were chewy and the ends rock hard. Read moreI went there and ordered a seafood feast family meal and didn’t get part of my order. I also order other things, which ended up being two bags of food. That being so, I didn’t think to check every box. Go all the way home to feed my family and half of the seafood was missing. All I got from the seafood feast was the fish. The meal is supposed to come with stuffed crab and shrimp. I’ve called up there multiple times and had no answer. I’m irritated because now I e got to waste gas going all the way back up there.
Edit: I’ve completed the contact us link and called the corporate number. I’m going to await a response. Hopefully it will be in a timely manner.
Edit 2 weeks later: Still have yet to receive any communication back from this place. I spent almost $60 there and only received half my order. I’ve made my mind up to never going back to this place again. They say reach out to the “contact us” section, but they never reach back out.
