Cypress Sweets — Restaurant in Texas

long review, lol. But I myself would appreciate and find helpful a detailed review if I was searching for a birthday spot for my child!

Found Cypress Sweets just by googling something like “fun birthday party spots in houston”. Was sold instantly after talking to Courtney & Tara, by the pictures on yelp & the price packages. So we had our daughters 6th birthday party here last weekend. I couldn’t rave more about Cypress Sweets. Here are all my favs...you get several options for type of candy craft to choose from, the store alone is SO cute, you don’t even need to bring in extra party decor.. Tara & Courtney are beyond beyond helpful. They did EVERYTHING from helping set up, serving food, drinks & cake, cleaning up, being so patient and kind to ten 5-6 year olds running around their store. They think of every detail.. need wet wipes to clean off sticky hands... they have them. Want fun music, they have kidz bop music playing the whole time, need little something to put utensils in..they pulled a cute jar out, etc. Also, There are two big cute photo op spots. Emailing back and forth with Tara & Courtney they are just so sweet and accommodating. We can’t wait to go back for their candy craft...

I did not try the baked goods but they looked really cute. We stopped by for a quick candy experience. Staff was very sweet. Prices were super high for some of the same candy you can get anywhere. Spent almost $30 for 5 small candy items. They had a few candy things I haven’t seen in awhile so may be good for memory type candy. The gummy options in the bags and cotton candy truly tasted awful! We ended up throwing it out and we are not picky eaters at all. The only things that tasted good were the name brand things that we could have gotten anywhere. We just finished my daughter’s birthday party and IT WAS AMAZING!!! Thank you so much for helping to make my daughter’s day special. I’ve purchased candy at the shop for previous birthdays but this year we decided to do the candy crafting party at the shop. I’m SO glad we did. It’s the first year I haven’t stressed! Y’all took care of everything and made it such an enjoyable time for the kids and even me! This is the first year I got to partake in the party activities instead of orchestrating the party details.
