UPDATE #1 to response: She claimed they were about to lock the door, that's a lie, I had 30 minutes before they closed. She did not have any gloves on nor her employee. I stand by everything I stated. Not only is she unsanitary, she is not a woman of integrity and honesty. I know what I saw. No employee should prepare anyone's food without wearing gloves, its unsanitary and nasty.
The tacos are good but the staff is unsanitary. They prepare food with no gloves. This is my 2nd and last time patronizing this business. The 1st visit, im not sure if they were wearing gloves or not because I was in a rush and distracted. The 2nd visit,I noticed neither ladies were wearing gloves while preparing my food. I didn't think they would cancel my order and refund me, therefore I didn't bother to ask. The health department need surprise visits here. They should not be preparing food without wearing gloves, that's very unsanitary. I also noticed the lady get the barbocoa meat from a plastic bag that was in a container of ice. Evidently at the end of the day, they store the meat not sold in a container of ice to possibly serve the next day. Serious food and health violations at this establishment and I will not be going back. I also will be...
Read moreThis place is in a Gas station parking lot, in a corner. It doesn’t seem very welcoming from the outside & let me tell you, the inside was no different. The girl on the counter was sweet. I told her, it was my 1st time there & that I googled the place and came in based on positive reviews and pictures of the tacos. Let me tell you right away, nothing in there was fresh, everything came out of boxes in the freezer, right in front of me, right after I placed my order. I was there at peak lunch time, yet I was the only one there. 1 girl on the counter taking my order, another in the kitchen, removing the meats and throwing them on the grill, right in front of my eyes. I ordered their Chicken tacos, which were supposed to be Fajita meat and their Pastor tacos. The tacos didn’t even look like they did in the pics. The Chicken was hard & chewy, just like it looked & the Pastor was no better. Highly disappointed in the food and everything overall. I also tried their fruit salad cup like dessert with sweet cream on top, kind of like a parfait looking dessert, not sure what it was called. Took a couple of bites and gave up on it. My 5 yr old didn’t want it either. Stay away from this place. The owners are not interested in serving...
Read moreAmazing breakfast tacos!! We live in Katy and we're visiting the area and wanted a good mexican breakfast. First we stopped at Las Delicias Taqueria and the lady behind the counter had the worst attitude. We tried to be overly kind to her hoping to lift her spirits and when we asked how she was doing today with no eye contact she said good, are you ready? My husband and I both looked at eachother and walked out. We saw the reviews on this place to we decided to try it. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the nice lady behind the counter, she was so friendly and we told her it was out first time so she gave is a few samples of the meats. The tortillas are homemade which is a big deal for me and the food is absolutely delicious!!! I was not a fan of the green salsa and the red one was a bit spicy for me so she went and blended me one I like. Above and beyond great customer service. If I could rate this place a...
