Daiquiri Trap — Restaurant in Texas

OK, so I was in the area around 8:30pm (Friday night) and I whipped into a plaza to buy myself a bottle of my favorite liquor to take home and a gentleman was coming up behind me into the liquor store that I was going into and I held the door open for him and we exchanged pleasantries and he said, “When you’re done go across the street and get yourself a drink, I got you.” I looked at him and said, “You must know” and we smiled at each other- cause I was for real thirsty; it’s hot in Houston and I’ve been working all day and I was like, I could use a nice cold drink right about now!! I ain’t lying, I was grateful for the offer and I took him up on it, too. I asked him what was the name of the place? And he said, “Daiquiri Trap”. And, sure enough, when I made my purchase at the liquor store, I drove right across the street and he was sitting outside on a stool in front when I pulled up and he seemed happy to see me and when I approached him he told me to go inside and get whatever I wanted. He had already mentioned at the liquor store earlier that they had a wide variety of selections and he never lied…They have a plethora of daiquiris to choose from and the young lady that was serving at the bar was pleasant and helped me choose a really good flavor. It was called “Feds watching” that’s the one I went with and that thang was GOOD!!!😋 Oh my gosh‼️ I’ve never had a daiquiri that good!! Seriously! hands-down! I honestly can’t wait to go back on that side of town and try my best to taste every daiquiri on the menu!!💃🏽 Thank you, Major🙏🏾 I really appreciate you and you know I needed dat Delicious Daiquiri fo’ sho❣️😅 Sorry, had to come back and edit this post because I forgot to mention the swings!!! the swings are everything‼️ that really caught my attention. We go to the the ice cream place close by and always wanted to try this spot out. We finally decided to give it a go. My partner and I came in here on 9/20 around 2pm. Upon walking in, the girl at the counter did not acknowledge or greet us. She stayed on her phone. When we approached the counter, I asked her how her day was and she scoffed. She tossed her phone at the counter with an attitude as if we were disrupting her. My partner asked her how a drink was and she mumbled “I don’t know”. I looked at him and then at her and said never mind. We walked out without purchasing anything. That was hands down the most disrespectful service I have ever received. I was willing to get a drink even with her being on her phone, but not being attentive or remotely polite when we asked for assistance was down right crazy. I love this place, I love the interior. The swing is what set it off for the girlies!!! 👸I’ve been coming since doors opened. Soon as I walk in they already be ready to take my order. Service fast.
