Ordered online, not sure where the blame lies on the prep time being inaccurate. If the store is able to update the prep times to account for an influx of orders they aren't doing it. If they have no control over it then whatever algorithm being used needs to be fixed.
I was 1 of about 15 people who were picking up orders that had been placed over an hour prior and were being ignored. Someone suggested taking down names of the customers who were there for pick up and they kept calling out names of people who weren't there. a doordash driver that had been waiting for an order said they had called out the same names an hour before that.
The guy boxing up pizzas was moving, but there was a stack of pizzas sitting on the counter next to him getting cold. The girl at the counter would stare at us dumbfounded then go stand next to the guy boxing pizzas and expediting and just look at the screen. While all those pizzas were sitting there getting cold.
Then some old lady came from around the back yelling at us that they weren't taking orders for anything other than pepperoni. None of us were placing new orders, everyone in there was picking up. Why is she yelling at us? She sent some other girl up there to help, which sped things along a little bit, first she called out the same orders the 1st girl did, then finally went to look at the stack of boxes getting cold and started to put orders together to get people out.
You get the phone numbers with the order, at the very least give people a call and say "hey just a heads up, we are really busy it may take an extra 20-30 mins for your order" set clear expectations.
Have a check-in system for pick up orders, if people are there way before their estimated time, they can wait, if they are there after their estimated time then their order should be rushed.
Don't leave an inexperienced child to have nothing to do but look around at customers. They should be able to read tickets and identify pizzas in the box to give a helping hand.
I waited and hour and a half for cold pizza, my pizzas were pulled from the stack of boxes I watched pile up. I know I wasn't the only one who got cold pizza.
What happend to hot and ready? We didn't get hot or ready. No one is saying they expect pizza in 5 minutes but when you tell us 30 minutes and it's 90 minutes something needs to...
Read moreWhen it first opened, this location was dependable, even when it was super busy. In the last few months, the service has been horrible. They don't have pizza "hot and ready," which is their marketing niche, and when orders are placed through the app, they aren't ready anywhere close to the estimated timeframes given.
Last weekend was the final straw for me. I ordered 4 pizzas through the app and requested a future time for pickup. I arrived after the requested time, and the pizzas still weren't ready. The lobby was full of people waiting on orders, with some people saying they had been waiting for hours.
Pizzas not being ready has happened before, but this time, employees working that evening couldn't give a time when the pizzas ordered would be ready. One of the employees could only say, "I don't know" when asked questions, and another one just stood around, then copped a nasty attitude when a request for the manager was made.
They also charged my card for the pizzas I never got that evening, which meant I had to go back to the location for a refund. Now I see they have a "now hiring" sign up. Either they cleaned house or people quit. While the assistant manager was apologetic for the poor service, as I said before, their service had been on a decline for some time. This last incident was the final straw for me. I won't be back. I really hate it has come to this because this location is the most convenient distance from my home. From now on, my family will seek out other options when...
Read moreOrder ahead of time because I know it’s busy hour. I receive email saying it is done. I proceed to wait in a long line. Over 30 minutes. No way out because there’s a car in front and behind me. Finally almost at window as car in front of me sat there for about 7 minutes. Get to the window she tells me my pizza isn’t done. I tell her I receive email saying it was ready. She tells me it will be 4 minutes for it to come out. So I say ok I can wait. She tells me no I need to move.l or else she will call the cops on me. I told her well I got an email and I just waited 30 + minutes but if she is madly going to call the cops on me after I was polite then so be it. So I told her that is fine , I have an email. She leaves for 1 minute and comes back and asks for my card because she has my pizza. I told her thank you. I did not really want to go back around because I’d have to wait another 30 + minutes as I can see the long line. She then slides my card off the box and on the floor and says “ next time you will have to move “. So now I’m holding up the line because I have to get out of my car somehow and grab my card as I see the receipt fly off. I was able to get my card from under my car.
I knew not to come back to this little Cesar’s because the pizza is almost never ready even when ordering ahead of time and still taking extra time to get there.
My card could have flown away further , her attitude could have been nicer. I understand it was rush hour but what she did was very...
