Duke's Tavern — Restaurant in Texas

Recently shared a few drinks with some buddies at Duke's and had a great time. Old school watering hole, that has been recently restored but still holds true to it character. Plenty of TV's to watch the Rockets games on, beer was ice cold, they had a decent selection (more local brew could be added), and smoke free environment which is great for me, but weird for a Katy bar.

Bar doesn't have a kitchen, but there is a very good taco truck on back patio. I also saw they allowed door dash to deliver food, which is cool.

Bartender was cute and super nice, staff always made sure my drink was full.

All in all I didn't have huge expectations walking in, but I will be a regular...

Non-smoking neighborhood bar.... which is sadly rare.

I do love this place for what it is... a neighborhood bar. I went here before it was remodeled and I described it in very negative ways. This place has been completely redone and it's a fantastic neighborhood bar. They have bingo night, karaoke night, crawfish boils... they just do a great job and most of the staff is friendly.

Highly recommend if you are in the area and looking for a fun...

This place has been in Katy for going on two decades. Its a small step above a dive, but they have good prices, quality TVs, good outdoor patio, great taco truck, and space to accommodate about 75 people. Staff are mostly good but I suspect they are on last warning on their liquor license or something cause they are relentlessly strict on carding me and every one else every single time but hey can't blame them for...
