My recent visit to El Huarache left me utterly impressed and craving for more! I had the pleasure of indulging in their Chillaquiles with Chorizo plate for breakfast. The addition of chorizo was a special request and it was an absolute delight from start to finish.
First and foremost, the presentation was exquisite. As the plate was set before me, the vibrant colors and fresh ingredients immediately caught my attention. The chillaquiles were perfectly arranged, topped with a generous portion of mouthwatering chorizo, and garnished with salsa verde and queso fresco. The visual appeal alone made my taste buds dance with anticipation.
Now, let's talk about the taste! Each bite was a harmonious explosion of flavors. The chillaquiles scramble were expertly prepared. The salsa verde had just the right amount of tanginess and spice, complementing the savory chorizo flawlessly. Every forkful was a delightful combination of textures and tastes that left me craving more with every bite.
Furthermore, the portion size was generous, ensuring that I left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were evident, and the attention to detail in the preparation truly elevated the dish to new heights.
The service at El Huarache was equally impressive. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and passionate about their culinary creations.
Without a doubt, El Huarache has become my go-to destination for an unforgettable breakfast experience. I highly recommend their Chillaquiles with Chorizo plate to anyone who appreciates authentic Mexican cuisine bursting with flavors. I can't wait to return and explore more of their tantalizing menu offerings.
Thank you, El Huarache, for an outstanding culinary adventure! You have truly set the bar high for Mexican breakfast fare...
Read moreOrdered through Lunch Drop and had it delivered to work, was so looking forward to trying this. If there was an option to do half stars, I would give 3.5 instead.
After most reviews I read, I ordered the queso and chips. The queso was around $6, so I felt a little ripped off when the cup it came in was almost half filled. There were burnt pieces throughout the queso and it tasted like it had been on a warmer too long. From what I had, I could see the potential it had, the need to cut corners to save money though is wrong and it brought down the quality of their food. The chips I read tasted store bought, they did not to me - they tasted as if they were fried up today. They are a bit thicker which I like but a little too much oil soaked the brown bag they came in.
I also ordered the Tortilla soup - which I love most places. I was very pleased to have dug into this soup 20 minutes after being delivered to find it still warm, almost hot. Kudos on the packaging! The soup is very good, not salty but plenty of flavor. I would order this again.
I am not giving up on this place by one batch of bad queso - I would like to try other things on their menu and give it...
Read moreUpdate: The food was actually pretty good and the waitress redeemed herself by making sure our food came out first even though she took our order after the folks who came in after us (as described below in the original review). She also promptly brought out another chips and salsa without us asking for it while we waited for our food. So changing the stars to 4 from the previous 1. We had the flameado appetizer, the huarache, enchiladas verde, chorizo and migas breakfast tacos, taquitos and tortilla soup. Everything except the taquitos was fresh and flavorful. The taquitos were just meh. All in all, a solid place for Mexican food, they just need to bring up the efficiency of their service.
Terrible service!!!! Had been sitting here for almost 30 minutes before anyone took our meal order! And that too, happened only after I spoke up and questioned the waitress why someone who came well after us was immediately attended to!! Will update the review with better stars if the food is actually good, but so far the experience is...
