El Tejano Mexican Restaurant and Banquet Hall — Restaurant in Texas

Prices went way up and food quality way down been 6 months or longer since I last ate here but within a year and not sure if still same owner but used to go because the queso was the best creamy white-yellow with an awesome taste now it's like canned orange-yellow fake watery cheese with no flavor beef fajita meat wasn't as good chicken is still ok but the main reason I used to love this place is the queso because it goes on almost everything but not worth it anymore. Maybe it was a fluke or something but unfortunately won't be coming back until I here it's like it used to be. Guess there's a reason the place always seems empty now which is sad because it used to be my go to for the Jerry special and queso but guess I'll just stick with Armentas or Iguana Joe's or try one of the other local places. What a shame very disappointed was looking forward to my meal and trying to come more often like I used to but just can't with that...

Well Kendra Anderson definitely has bad taste buds I came 4 times and it’s a friendly place to bring your family and friends the food is amazing and on top of that the prices were even better as a truck driver I been to a lot of places and in this area it’s my favorite I been to so many different locations all through out this country and I’d have to say this is one of my favorites if you want the best food with great service this is the place the michelada’s are the best as well I’d like to thank the staff (Jose, Ana, letty, and the rest of you) for their Hospitality they were great and I appreciate their personalities you don’t get good service these days and they are on point I’ll be coming around more often see you...

I asked for a fajita chicken quesadilla and for $12 (plus tip) I got a full size quesadilla (one of the best I have ever had and I’ve eaten a bunch) it came with a tostada filled queso bowl, sour cream, salsa and chips and salsa verde plus guacamole which I substituted fresh avocado for at no extra charge and I came in around 1 pm and they had me ready and out the door in less than 10 mins. The gentleman taking my order did so with a smile and made sure he understood what I wanted, I did not feel rushed or brushed off like I do a lot of times when ordering to go.
