Attended on 10/12/24 with a group of 4. Haunted House: We purchased the VIP Combo which includes the admission to the haunt (express lane), cranium catch, paintball and axe throwing then we purchased a separate ticket for the escape room. I personally don’t like waiting in lines so I wanted the ticket combo that allowed us to be in the shorter line and us arriving around 8:45pm there was a crowd. I’ll say the line was about a 30min. wait upon arriving but gradually got longer. With the VIP ticket to “cut” the line, we waited less than 10mins. The pre-show is lengthy and entertaining so before entering the haunt itself, you do go get paired in groups but you have the option to go with just you and your group instead of getting paired with others. Sometimes other groups will attempt to run through the entire thing and I didn’t want to feel rushed. Doing it with just my group, gave us time to pace ourselves so we decided to go last. Bar: They have a menu that’s on the bar top but you could also ask for one if you don’t see one present. All the bartenders were attentive and unfortunately I did not get the name of the gentleman that was working that night in who was taking our orders but he was really great at his customer service and never missed a beat in providing us more drinks. Food: The night we went they had “Cool Cow Creamery” and “Tacos El Flaco Norteño”. The ice cream was 10/10 and shared it with my fiancé. For the taco stand we got jalapeño poppers with the beef fajita tacos which were really good. It was 5 tacos for $10 and $2 per jalapeño. He also offers quesadillas and hotdogs. BEWARE: There is dogs that appeared around the food seating area, we were notified by staff that they belong to the neighboring houses and not owned by the haunted house or costume store that’s conjoined with them. It didn’t seem to bother some customers since people here and there were feeding them scraps of their food. We made our way over across the street where they have the escape rooms, axe throwing, pumpkin patch, paintball and 3 different carnival games. The ring toss was challenging so I got another ticket purchased for I was able to do the bean bag toss with the giant animatronic pumpkins. The escape room you are given 10minutes which wasn’t bad since we were 2 puzzles away from completing “black beard curse”. They have 3 themed escape rooms to pick from. Axe throwing you are given 8 throws, I made 2/8 and they do give instructions on how to handle it properly. It was one of the longer lines out of the amenities other than paintball. The duration of our entire visit was roughly 2 hours if you do everything they have to offer and if the lines aren’t long or else it could add to your...
Read moreI’ll start off by saying these people are 100% money hungry and only care abt reviews. Every corner you turn there’s a QR code saying give us 5 stars! And they don’t give refunds, which you’ll be wanting after you stand in line for 3 and half hours for a mid experience. The manager dude was walking around counting all the money out in the open, from the concession stands and ignoring everyone that was in the line. The only words out of his mouth were, it’s worth it i promise. Let me tell you NO IT WASNT. Don’t get me wrong my family and I love a good haunted house and are willing to pay the price for a good one but honestly do not spend your money here. We got in line about 11:50 Saturday night we didn’t get to the front of the line till 2:40am. At this point we just wanted to get through the haunted house to get the satisfaction of going through it and bc we already committed to hours of standing there. Then we were put in a small room with 30 other people while the lady was screaming to get crammed in so she can fit in more people. After 10 mins of smelling everyone’s sweat in a tiny room we were moved TO ANOTHER Tiny room where they had a dude doing a lip sync story thing and stomping around like a 2 yr old, which this was another 10 mins. Then they split you into groups of 6 and send you in for the 5 mins you walk through the haunted house which in all honesty was a joke. I’m usually a wuss walking into haunted houses and it was not scary at all, the actors were obviously tired and ready to be done which made our experience lame. It all felt very rushed. It definitely was not worth the 3 an half hours of waiting, the only enjoyable thing while waiting in line was dancing to the music. in which everyone was delusional at this point bc how hot it was. THATS ANOTHER THING, 0 air flow in the tent, no fans, expensive waters, and the smell of sweat. We’re in texas for crying out loud. The best part about this place is the axe throwing THATS IT. To the guy dressed up as a clown walking around the line, you made our night. For this place I’d recommend you guys get some more actors walking around everywhere give it more of a scary vibe not some mediocre scary candy land stuff. And get rid of the whole story at the beginning of the haunted house, no one cares and the story didn’t even match up with the haunted house anyway in my opinion. And maybe invest in a better makeup artist, no one was scary. In all spend your money elsewhere there are so many other good haunted...
Read moreHonestly, this place was kind of a joke. And I would give zero stars if I could. We paid $250 for 6 of us to go stand in line for 3 hours in the heat and humidity packed in with tons of other people to go through a haunted house that wasn't scary and only took 5 minutes to walk through. Once you finally get to go in The Haunted house they pull you and 15 other people into a tiny little room and make you stand there for 5 minutes, then they pull you into another room and make you listen to 10 minutes of some dumb backstory about the Haunted house, and then it only takes like 5 minutes to walk through. So it literally takes longer to listen to the story than it does to actually walk through the haunted house. So, to the curators of this establishment, I have a couple suggestions. The first of which would be if you're gonna make people stand all smashed together under a tent with no airflow(the sides were open but it sits between buildings so there is no air movement) maybe invest in some fans so people aren't melting into puddles while waiting to go into your attraction. Secondly, lose the dumb 10 minute back story. I can assure you almost no one cares or remembers what the guy says, and it just prolongs the wait to go through The Haunted house, raising frustration levels even further after waiting for HOURS to get in. I know yall are trying to be original or whatever but it's the reason that the wait line takes so long to get through and it doesn't work. We watched several people give up and leave the line after paying their money to be there. And this place will not give a refund. Which makes it seem like they know people aren't going to be satisfied but they don't want to lose money. We contemplated leaving multiple times but we had spent so much to be there we didn't want it to be a total loss. The only saving grace for the waiting line is that there's music. So me, my husband, and our kids made it fun for ourselves by dancing and goofing off but, quite literally could have done that anywhere. Needless to say, we won't be back. And if you're looking for an awesome haunted house that takes 30+ minutes to walk through, I suggest Purgatory Scream Park in Kingwood. We went there last year and were not...
