We saw that the reviews for this family owned place raved about the food. We walked in and saw there were several tables in the main dining room but the host separated a group of tables and then seated us. So instead we were seated toward the path to the restroom and next to the owners table. The host quickly got our beverages and then we didn't see anyone for over half an hour. We finally flagged someone down to take our order and he quickly ran off. Fifteen minutes later we got our salads and I asked if we'd get bread, he regretfully came back saying it was in the oven and would be out in two minutes. We watched as 3 or 4 baskets of bread came out to other tables so we flagged someone down and asked if he could get us bread. He came out to tell us there was no bread and would be out of the oven in 3 minutes. I explained to him that we'd been told we'd have bread to eat with our salads in 2 minutes. He then said, I can't help you, I'm not your waiter, which was a bit off-putting, so I asked him to relay our concern to our waiter. A few minutes later our waiter finally brought us bread and raced off, while we both had empty glasses and couldn't get refills. After waiting a while longer I finally got up and refilled our drinks. There was a larger party in the room next to us and they must've been friends of the family as they were getting great service. We just felt like we were an inconvenience to the staff. The only saving grace was the delicious bread and the artichoke chicken. My friend ordered the sausage and pepper sandwich which she said was a bit dry. I could tell they were a bit short staffed but having to wait an hour for food and never getting refills with ice was frustrating and disappointing. We always are looking for locally owned places to try but this one missed the mark.

Thought we would give this local independent Italian spot a try, and wholly regret the money spent and meal eaten. Sandwich was dry as a bone (said it came with house vinaigrette) and despite my specific note to please not put tomato on it, it had fat juicy tomato slices on it. The bread was fresh at least. Definitely not what I expected for $10, though. I’ve had better sandwiches at subway. Asked for house salad and for Cesar instead, which was just a handful of romaine in a box with a sprinkle of Kraft grated Parmesan and a cup of dressing. Not even croutons or anything. Chicken fettuccine Alfredo was greasy and flavorless. Ordered and 8” cheese pizza and was appalled with what arrived - they should really be embarrassed. They could have put a microwave pizza in the box and passed it off better. Flat as a board, and no flavor whatsoever. Quite a sad little pizza. It all added up to a really poor experience. Wasn’t a situation where an error was made or anything…. This is just bad and sad “Italian” food. Will not eat here again and will certainly not recommend to others. Two thumbs down.

Hello, I came here with my family (5 members) to give it a try to this Italian restaurant, the waiters were really nice, the supervisor not that much, don't know if it has something to do with my race, but ok Who cares... So prepare yourself for very small portions of food, like playing making food with your 8 yo daughters in the DreamHouse kind of thing, I think that would be something to improve, like charge 20% more and give 20% more food, I had the salmon you can see in the picture, I swallow the whole thing in 2 bites lol, and I'm skinny dude. The flavor was ok, it didn't really impress or impacted me, my family thought the same, my daughter ask for the Charlie Pasta, and this pasta came without sauce, just the vegetables on the top, so there wasn't any flavor on it. So we left the place hungry. I will come again soon to try the pizzas, I will take some pictures and Update this review.

NOT A PLACE FOR COLORED PEOPLE AND BE AWARE DELIVERY DRIVERS!!! I’m not even a customer at this location. Hell I ain’t ever heard of this place ever before, I came here as a DoorDasher and from the get-go entering this establishment, it smelled very musty. It’s very dark in there, but that’s not even the main problem. The main issue is that I as a person of color did not feel safe and accepted that location. I simply was just going in there to get an order and leave when I got there they did not even start the order. I’ve sat there for 10 minutes. I tried to inform the person in the front about the order twice. He mentioned that he was going to check once 10 minutes later, the order was not out and prepared so I asked him again. He went back to check then this big, ginormous individual which I’m assuming is either owner or the mascot of the restaurant because he built like a giant meatball, wobbles to look at the tablet and noticed that he didn’t except the order and being an idiot telling me that I was going to sit there for 30 minutes until the order was finished. I was not gonna wait there for 30 minutes. to respectfully go to my car and let him know that I’m going to tell the customer whether they want to wait for the order or to cancel the order because they did not even start the order and I’m not gonna wait 30 minutes and he wants to blow steam out his ears and get frustrated and annoyed, telling me with a snarky attitude that he wasn’t even going to start the order until I informed him with the customer and I’m like well I’m going to let the customer know regardless so you can start the order now I’m a let the customer know regardless if he or she wants to order to be completed or not and if they say no, and they’re in the mist of cooking, that’s not my problem I already drove a few miles to this location and they didn’t even start the order I feel like the manager has a racist underlying tone to him. I didn’t feel safe staying there for another minute. I just left. He told me to never come back again which I sure will never come back again. I don’t even eat microwaved quality food anyways I’ve notified DoorDash to keep an eye on this restaurant for any misconduct behavior with this restaurant just in case if there’s any more situations when it comes to people of color and or any altercation with any dasher with the owner and the establishment as well as keeping me off radar to getting future orders from this location thank god. All I gotta say if you are a Dasher or an Uber eats driver, be VERY Mindful and aware if you’re around the champion forest area don’t come into this location because that wobbly manager or owner or whoever he is well blows steam and will kick you out which he didn’t kick me out. I walked out and I did not care whatsoever for me ever going back to that musty...

I went here for the first time months ago with my family, and the waiters were very nice, and so was the owner. The food was not amazing, but it was alright and we love supporting family owned businesses. We came back a second time a month later, and same deal.

I hate to be the person who adds race as a factor into everything, because that is such a pet peeve of mine, but since I want to be honest with my experience, I will do it anyway. Every time we have come here, my family (who are dark skinned) get very cold stares from the other customers as we are the only dark skinned people in the room. Every family eating in the restaurant clearly did not like us being there, and we even overheard one family LOUDLY announcing negative things about my family eating at this restaurant- clearly we were not welcomed here by the other customers. It is very annoying that people just think it is okay to stare at us the entire time while we innocently eat a meal. This happens every time because there is only one demographic of people that mainly eat at this place and so they do not like it when other types of people come over. I want to emphasize this is the CUSTOMERS, not the owners or staff. Because of this, I unfortunately decided I would not come here again because I felt uncomfortable there with the type of crowd. However, because we had faith in the kind people who worked here, we decided to come back another time anyway. We walked in on a Thursday at 8:30pm exactly and the restaurant closes at 9 pm. We understood it was last minute so we just wanted to get something small to be considerate to the staff. The young man at the front greeted us and after I asked for a table he awkwardly said they were closed. At 8:30 pm? Then update the website! Guess y'all do not want business then. Clearly he had enough and did not want to do any more that day. So after giving the restaurant another chance, our minds are set. Staff are somewhat good, subpar food at best, and incredibly uncomfortable crowd of people who eat there. We will...
