Godfather's Pizza Aubrey — Restaurant in Texas

I placed an online order, scheduled for a 6pm delivery. After working a 10 hour shift, I just wanted to have dinner ready when I got home.

I get home, it wasn’t there. No big deal. Waited until 6:45 to call, was told it was out for delivery and would be here within 5-10 minutes. 30 more minutes pass, and it still wasn’t here. My husband called and was put in contact with the owner, who claims he delivered the order himself.

We have two cameras - one facing the front door and the entire front porch. The secondary canera faces the entire front yard. Not a single soul stepped onto our property since I arrived at home at 6:04pm.

The owner begins YELLING at my husband at full volume (which was captured on camera, as he was on speaker 😌) and says “if the order isn’t there, then I don’t know”.

My husband goes to the store in person to get our order and the owner starts threatening to CALL THE POLICE???

At which point, the police said we are SOL and to file a chargeback with our card. So now, we are out of $50 AND dinner because this guy would rather double down and be extremely aggressive for no reason other than his own ego, I guess, than to just simply remake the order or refund us like any normal person would do.

Proceed with caution, unless you want to be yelled at by the owner 😌

In response to the owner’s reply: For the 50th time, I reviewed my camera manually from 5:40pm to 8:00pm and, once again, no one stepped onto our property during that two hour frame. You made a mistake, own up to it and stop being obtuse.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER RECEIVED!!! PLACED AN ORDER AND SAID ORDER SHOULD BE READY. AN HOUR AND A HALF LATER I HAD TO CALL BC THE ORDER HAD NOT SHOWN UP. WHEN THE YOUNG LADY ANSWERED, SHE HAD NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND WAS TALKING TO ME LIKE I WAS A FRIEND, NOT A CUSTOMER AND THEN PROCEEDED TO JUST SAY HOLD ON. COMES BACK AND SAYS YEAH YOUR ORDER IS SITTING RIGHT HERE AND IS READY. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DELIVERED. SHE PUTS ME ON ANOTHER HOLD, DOESN'T SAY ANYTHING I JUST HEAR HOLD MUSIC AGAIN AND THEN SOME ROBOT MANAGER GETS ON THE PHONE. APOLOGIZES AND TELLS ME IT WILL BE OUT FOR DELIVERY IN LESS THAN 5 MIN. I REPEATDLY STATE THAT I DO NOT WANT THE FOOD AS IT HAS BEEN SITTING OUT FOR 45MIN GETTING COLD, I HAVE A 9 MONTH PREGNANT WIFE WHO HAS NOT DECIDED TO GO GET SOMETHING ELSE AND HE PROCEEDS TO TELL ME IT IS COMING TO THE HOUSE. I SAID FOR THE 3RD TIME I DON'T WANT THE FOOD, DON'T COME TO MY HOUSE, AND JUST REFUND MY MONEY. HE STATED THAT HE WOULD DELIVER THE FOOD BC HE DID NOT HAVE A CHOICE, AND THAT HE WOULD REFUND THE $56 AND SOME CHANGE BACK TO MY CARD, AND TO CHECK THE ACCOUNT BC IT WOULD TAKE 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS. HERE WE ARE 2.5 WEEKS LATER AND STILL NO REFUND AND EVERYONE I SPEAK TO SAYS THEY DID NOT SPEAK TO ME AND THEY CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!! AS I STATED, IT WAS THE WORST SERVICE EVER RECEIVED AND I STILL DON'T HAVE MY MONEY BACK.

DO VISIT THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT POOR SERVICE, BAD PIZZA, AND LIES!!!!!! IF NO STARS WAS AN OPTION THAT MATTERED I WOULD GIVE...

Look...I have fond memories of this restaurant from my childhood. The taco pizza being my favorite! So, when this popped up around the corner I was excited. The negative... When I pay the high price for a specialty pizza, I shouldn't get hassled over the taco sauce packets to go with my pizza. The taco sauce on top is what MAKES the taco pizza for me. I even forgive the stingy toppings (lack of evenly spread shredded cheese & tomatoes on top) because I love the flavor of that taco sauce combined with the other flavors on my pizza. I would expect at the VERY LEAST to get one packet per slice... However, for a large pizza, that barely covers half the slice. When I get delivery I am lucky to get any sauce. Today I picked up, opened the box & didn't even have enough for one a slice. I asked for a handful more & said I like a lot of sauce. I maybe got 4 more. I was asked if that was enough & I asked, can I have more please, I like 2 per slice. The worker replied, "2 PER SLICE!" Then proceeded to bring me 3 more. I still ended up with a few packets over the 1 per slice. Which at least I had the bare minimum. My point is...the pizza isn't cheap & it is a condiment that compliments this particular specialty pizza! Also ... he acts like it comes out of his paycheck. Seriously, 2 tiny packets of sauce per large slice of pizza is not unreasonable. Do better for your customers & they may come back more often, especially when they live a...
