Been here twice now. The first time we got the jalepeno poppers (bacon wrapped) and a ribeye. Enjoyed the poppers very much. The ribeye had good flavor but grislier than I would like. The second time we had a group of 16 of us for lunch (we were the only ones there). We got the jalepeno poppers again and a salad with grilled chicken. I was very pleasantly surprised by the food and how good it was. Everyone in our group only had positive feedback about their food. Several ordered the smash burger and Texas grilled. Prices are extremely reasonable. You can still get a $2 beer here! Service was very slow. Our waitress was trying but could’ve used some help. It took almost an hour for the first food plates to come out. I think they had to wait for a cook to show up. We had to ask for waters a couple times and they forgot to check on beverages. The computer system seems to be giving them some troubles so took time to get out tabs. I really want to write a good review but I just cannot do it. The atmosphere and music were great. Loved to see people up dancing. The food was another story. I had the smash burger which was just okay but served with cold fries . I will say they brought me hot fries which were very good. My husband had the Sunday fried chicken special. It looked like it had been around since last Sunday and tasted like that also. The restaurant was busy so when we told our server that there was something wrong with the chicken, she agreed that it did not look good - and said that she was very sorry. My recent experience there is probably the reason I will no longer try to support this bar in any way even though I know so many employees I'd like to support. I was cut off after three beers and I can only assume it is because I tried to transfer my tab from the bar to the floor waitress that was excellent. The bar tender that made the decision put the waitress in an awkward place and never attempted to explain her position and gladly accepted to over charge with no tip. .
