I Heart Boba — Restaurant in Texas

02/20/2021 update:

We are out for boba at least once or twice a week, sometimes to different boba shops, just depends what area we’re in and what we want. Most recent we noticed that the customer service at this store has gone down. When the order is right it’s all good, but when something is not right... watch out! Somebody needs to teach the little girl at the counter customer service skills! I came in for an order, two drinks ordered without ice. They both came out WITH ice, I informed her I wanted them without ice. Her response “You didn’t clarify that.” I left it alone, because I didn’t want to embarrass her with what was going to come out of my mouth. We ordered 5 drinks, so she said we get one free drink, bag of coffee, or a key chain. I opted for the coffee after confirming with her that it was ground coffee. As we were waiting for the drinks I read the details on the coffee, wanting to know where it’s from etc. As I read over it, the bag clearly indicated that it is whole bean coffee AND it was EXPIRED! Naturally I asked if they in fact have ground coffee that is not expired. She said that’s all they had. She put it back on the counter with the other expired coffee (instead of pulling it all of the shelf to trash). So I told her instead of the coffee she can just make an extra drink instead. I guess she didn’t like that so she got another gentleman to help us. The tall man was very kind and took care of it. On another occasion we came in for boba. My husband and I visited separately because we were both out doing things. I told him they have a FB promo for BOGO. He pulled it up showed it to the guy that was there whom told him it only applies to their earl gray tea and something else. That was not true, that was just the promotion they were running in store, but my husband didn’t want to argue with him. In the meantime I catch up with him and arrive at the store. I pull up the promo for my order, and tell him it’s not just for what he said. It clearly states for “any drink”... so he applied it. But I could tell he was annoyed. We love I❤️Boba, but if this is a continuing trend I don’t have an issue restricting my business to only The Boba Shop and The Teahouse. Their boba is just as good if not better depending on the type of flavors you like.

2019: Their boba smoothies are so good, and their Vietnamese sandwiches are the best we’ve...

I dunno what to say about this place that's positive. my personal experience ended up not great. My first time in here never tried it b4 and i asked to try sample they were nice enough to give me sample and let me try any flavor of Boba or jelly which was nice why i gave 2 star. But inbetween every question & sample, i had the service guy turn around and make a tea or something. They had a lot of orders to make so i was ok with this but it took awhile felt like 10 min to try 2 flavors & ask 2 questions. Then some people came in & instead of asking if we were finished tasting or ready for order the serviceman took the orders of new people tho i was there waiting for 5-10 min. So at that point i didn't care anymore & left. I tried an herbal jelly wasn't huge fan. the yogurt was a bit sweet & popped with juice but it a little. & my bro tried Boba or honey Boba and it was good. Flavors weren't too bad but didn't try...

We ordered a mango drink we saw on the paper menu taped on the counter and ended up getting a different mango tea than I was expecting. I told the girl I wanted the creamy one and she said that's not what I ordered and listed about 4 different options I wasn't given when I first ordered. She was super nice and asked management if I could exchange it but they said no and even showed me the sign that says no returns or exchanges. She politely asked me to try it to see if I liked it before buying another one. I tried it, didn't like and purchase the one I actually wanted. The cashier was super nice and polite, but management should be a little more understanding.

If you order from here make sure you tell them EXACTLY what you want before paying, some of us are not that familiar with all the different variations on flavors, and if you only give us two options we're going to assume those are...
