Jackpot Pizza — Restaurant in Texas

Epic fail! My family eats pizza weekly and we had high hopes of shifting to a local business from our usual chain and despite the horrendous reviews, I relied on the good ones scattered throughout thinking maybe they applied the feedback and corrected the issues. We spent 30 minutes driving for this pickup and upon arriving home realized they left out my daughter’s salad (her full meal). My wife called and the man that answer said “it’s sitting right here, I don’t know why they didn’t give it to you, you can come back and get it”. We decided we weren’t interested in spending 30 more minutes on the road so we asked for a refund. He said he’d get a manager on the phone to process that. They never picked up so we called back ( took a few attempts to get an answer) and the lady manager said she’d process the refund but would take the next day giving some atypical excuse. A week later I asked my wife if that was ever refunded. Upon checking, it had not been. Called again and this time the male manager said he shows a “credit” and they don’t have an option for refunds even for items not provided per their error. He could not explain why the lady manager gave conflicting information. Having not been impressed with the food and even worse the blatant disregard for customer experience left us not desiring to return but wanted the money paid for product they excluded. Having to call back 4+ times for their error and still no regard to rectify per my choice and salvage this was insane and clearly not a priority to take care of customers.Customer Service training (especially at the manager level) is a must for this small business to succeed as they should put a greater effort to create customer loyalty. I have nothing to gain and am only taking time to leave this review out of respect for the owner as I would desire such feedback to improve...

We use to love this place. All about supporting a local business. In the beginning the customer service was great. Recently in the past 6 months it’s just slipped. They never can get our order right. Then when we call them about the order they don’t seem to care. The last and I mean the last time we ordered (never ordering again), we asked to speak with the manager. The lady in charge told us she is just filling in and admitted she is the one that took our order and messed our order up. She didn’t seem to care. We tried reaching out to speak to another manager. We tried many times but we could only get the lady who said she is “just filling in”. No way to run a business. If you can’t get the order correct then please be understanding with remaking it. Especially when it’s a food allergy issue and a vegetarian requested items. On top of them the last 5 times either forgetting items, making items wrong or giving us someone else’s order, the quality has also slipped. It’s greasy, gross, the toppings are less than they use to be. I would have continued to sing their praises and to give them my business but this last situation was just ridiculous. Seriously you are better off ordering from any other place. It’s a real shame because this place was literally my happy place. I would look forward to our weekly pizza night. I really hope they can get their stuff together and bring their business back to what made them great, what made them special. It’s not hard. Give good customer service, listen to your customers, make their items correctly and if you make a mistake it’s fine, just try to fix the problem and not make the customer feel like it’s their fault....

My family used to be a chain pizza restaurant type of family. But we were always looking for “better pizza” for our family pizza/movie night. So I asked around and found out a lot of my friends order from Jackpot! Figured we’d try it. Oh…. Muh… lord!!!! Couldn’t believe how delicious this pizza was!! I knew my family and I found our new pizza place! The crust is perfect! The cauliflower crust is crunchy and definitely one of my favorites. And the salads are always so fresh and delicious!! The toppings are perfectly proportioned. The pizza is ALWAYS delivered piping hot. Cannot say enough about how wonderful and yummy this place is.

My family is coming into town on the 4th. Ironically, my dad loves to find local places to eat. He sent me a link to Jackpot Pizza asking me if we’d ever try this place. I was like “ABSOLUTELY!!! It’s the best pizza we’ve ever had!!!” I cannot wait to introduce this fabulous pizza place to my family from out of town.
