I initially became a patient of the facility because their business hours were conducive to my schedule, they were attentive to me needs, and I was interested in braces. However when covid impacted me I decided to not move forward with braces. I spoke to Jaime regarding my situation and requested a refund for what I paid for out of pocket. It took multiple phone calls and showing up to the office unscheduled to finally receive a refund; which was frustrating in itself. Nevertheless, I finally received my refund and In my mind i no longer had any outstanding concerns or issues with them.....until recently when I discovered they had been receiving payment from my insurance company for over a year. Receiving payment for services never provided/ rendered to me. I made this discovery only due to my current provider seeking to retain payment for the services I currently receive. When I contacted the office on 6/24/21 I spoke with Yvette (8:57 am)...she was pleasant but she needed to refer me to Jamie. She assured me that Jamie would contact me. Guess what.. that never happened. I contacted the office at 5:30 pm because I have yet to receive any calls. When Jamie answered my call, she immediately was on the defense and told me it was an oversight. I wanted more insight on how receiving payment from May of 2020 - May 25th 2021 is simply an oversight. At that moment she became very dismissive and was trying to pacifier my concerns by talking quickly and trying to rush me off of the phone. As far as I'm concerned, accepting payment for over a year without rendering services isn't an oversight....it's insurance fraud. Let's be clear ...INSURANCE FRAUD...the outcome could've been much better if she were more empathetic and took ownership of their mistake and made my concerns a priority or at least assured me that it was, but her attitude reflected otherwise. She did not meet my needs and I would not recommend this office to anyone. If a potential fraud was brought to your attention in the early morning, there should have been a sense of urgency....or better yet, basic customer service provided to address the situation well before 5:30 pm. 0...
Read moreAVOID this place! They are terrible and unprofessional, they don't stand behind their work at all if something goes wrong with it you have to pay again to have them fix their own half a** work. They have you pay up front when you have work done then when you come back to finish the work they tell you that was just an "estimate" and you owe more money or guess what, you can't get the work finished (feels a little like blackmail). This is the second time this has happened here and I will be reporting them to the BBB, as it seems many others on here have had the same issue, and it seems like a normal practice for them. I have never had a dentist give me an "estimate", they always contact the insurance first and tell me what my total will be and it has never changed like it does here; so either they don't know how to properly get the information from the insurance or they are scamming their patients. Either way they should be ashamed. I never ever write reviews so the fact that I am tells you how bad and how shady this place is. Avoid them at all cost, you will be happy you did.
Responding to their response: I have already tried to come to a resolution with you and you all refuse to do anything and are rude as well. Don't try and make it look like you want to help because you made it very clear that you don't. I have been in touch with my dental insurance and they have stated it is very clear on how much they cover and it hasn't changed so not sure what your speaking of there. Reading the reviews here shows that this office is scamming people left and right and ignoring the patients when they question it. I am getting a written statement from the dental insurance on rates and all my past "estimates" that I thankfully have kept everyone of them and i will be sending copies to the insurance companies fraud dept. I will also be contacting The BBB (which they already have an F rating) and the Texas State Board of Dental as well. Your practice needs to be held...
Read moreI arrived early for my appointment and was called to the back shortly after my actual appt 4:34. I was put in exam room 4 and told that because I was just there in December I wouldnât need X-rays or an exam. I would only need a cleaning. I was told that Tuesdayâs and Thursdayâs were their busiest days BUT someone would be with me shortly. I was then left there unattended for nearly 30 minutes. When the tech finally came in at 5:05 she didnât apologize for the extended wait, just lowered the seat put the paper separator in my mouth along with the suction hose. She left it in my mouth while she attempted to get the water pick to work (it didnât). She then called someone to the room (with the suction still sitting in my mouth) and attempted to trouble shoot the issue. After that didnât work we went to the adjacent room. Once again the water pick didnât work. Another tech finally was able to get room four working so we walked back to room four for the cleaning. She then did the cleaning but when it came time to do the floss and polish she said someone else would be in to do this (apparently she was in too high of demand to finish my cleaning). Someone else walked in a few minutes later and did the floss and polish. They then told me I could check out and failed to provide the complimentary tooth brush and floss. I left the office at 5:50, after arriving there at 4:30 for a simple cleaning. This was by far the worst experience Iâve ever had at this office and not one person seemed to think it was necessary to apologize. It seemed as though this was just âhow it isâ and I was to accept it. Iâve also been placed on a 3 month plan despite having 0 cavities in the last year (also without an explanation). My insurance covers 2 exams a year BUT it seems your office just wants additional money and poor service. I will be looking elsewhere for future...
