Krab Kingz — Restaurant in Texas

Support small DEI businesses. Today I was disappointed with this business in Cypress, TX. . I paid $55.98! Plus tax which came out to be $60.60 for two snow crab platters (1 pound of crab each with sides ) I drove up to the restaurant with a happy disposition to pick up my order, after placing my order over the phone. Mind you, I’ve been here before and customer service is great as it was in this situation. I’ve had Krab Kingz snow crabs in previous orders and was left satisfied. However, today of all days (Boycott/DEI rollback business) I ordered snow crabs and received dry and overcooked crabs. 😤. I mean Dry and Overcooked! I’m inclined to believe the crabs were microwaved to reheat as one customer reviewed 2 weeks ago. The meat was dark and dry with the outer shell soft and rubbery which indicates being terribly over cooked. I am further disappointed because I highly recommend this place to radio personalities who will be visiting soon but I have to recommend them to a different place at this point. A place who would not dare serve food such as this to their patrons. Who is allowing food like this to leave the kitchen? The snow crabs today, the ones that I received, needed to be in a landfill not served to customers. These crabs tastes like they were cooked, refrozen and brought out to be served to customers with NO regard for taste or texture. As I am typing this, I received a call from a manager. She took my information and said I should expect a call from the owner today or tomorrow. Krab Kingz is an absolute gem for Cajun seafood lovers! Their diverse flavors—from original to spicy, Cajun, king me, and honey garlic—each burst with unique deliciousness. The dine-in experience is unbeatable, offering hot, fresh seafood with an atmosphere filled with lively music and joyful chatter.

I’ve tried both carry-out and dine-in, and dining in is definitely superior, especially for their boiled and fried seafood. The freshness and crispness are unmatched. My top recommendation is the Just Crab platter, featuring perfectly seasoned crab, potatoes, sausage, and eggs—a delightful surprise for a newcomer like me from Kansas.

Their hush puppies, with corn inside, are simply irresistible. We always order extra! If you can’t decide on a flavor, the staff is great about offering samples, and you can even mix and match flavors on different clusters of crab legs.

On our most recent visit, they took a bit longer with one of our orders. Recognizing this, the staff kindly added an extra cluster of crab legs as a gesture of appreciation for our patience. This level of service, going above and beyond, truly sets them apart and keeps me coming back as a loyal customer.

Krab Kingz is a must-visit for anyone craving an extraordinary seafood experience. Highly recommend!

While visiting from out of state, we stumbled across Krab Kingz in Cypress and we were ecstatic about our discovery and let me tell you why. We were greeted with a smile as we entered the establishment which is a rarity in today's culture. [5 star] The establishment was super clean. [5 star] Being that we had not been to the restaurant and was not familiar with the menu, the greeter Trinity A explained the menu options to us. [5 star] I ordered the #1 The Loaded King with Lemon Butter and my husband ordered the Deluxe Pasta with Catfish. The wait time to receive our food was excellent. [5 star] Food temperature on both entrees were perfectly hot! You could actually see the steam blazing from the food. When my husband bit into the catfish, he slurpt loudly as if he was eating soup. I looked at him like... Really? I took a bite and slurpt too! The catfish temperature was like eating it the moment it came out the grease! [5 star] 6. Food was delicious! [5 star] The server, Trinity A, utilized exceptional timing when checking on us to see if we needed anything as she kept our cups refilled. [ 5 star] As we departed, we were thanked for eating there.
