La MichoAuténtica — Restaurant in Texas

I will keep this short and simple:) the name of his restaurant explains everything going on in his shop from the people to the flavors he creates. Let me tell you why. First and one of the most important experience I want to share is the excellent customer service. The owner jorge greeted me with a nice warm smile, so does his employees, which right off the bat made me feel comfortable and welcomed. I’m on a mission to explore mangonadas around the world and I have to say two things about this specific treat at this specific location. One, unique. Two, delicious. One, because I’ve never had a mangonada in shaved ice form so that was new for me. Also a super important thing is the flavor. I always tell myself “if it doesn’t taste like a real sweet mango it’s just another fake flavored terrible drink” he definitely uses fresh real mango. Two, I found it delicious. If you don’t believe me try it for yourself. And the last but not least the atmosphere is sincerely nice and clean. It’s really family friendly and In an easy access location. The name of his shop says it all. Authentic real flavors and from my experience real authentic smiles. I’ll be back 😎 (Jorge home makes all his flavors and I was shocked and excited when I saw they had a Forrero Rocher. I mean I’ve seen reeses and Kit Kat ice cream but who thought of this. I discovered this location through facebook, looking for somthing different from your usual ice cream establishment. I visited the location and was quite impressed with the variety of custom made frozen and fresh fruit dessert options. The parlor specializes in ice creams that are made in house in various flavors. The parlor also prepares various fresh fruit dishes from salads to smoothies, just about anything that can be made with fruit. I tried various ice cream samples and was amazed at the flavor combinations. Very bold and flavor combinations you may not have considered. The frozen ice pops are all made in house and were full of fresh fruits with various flavors. I tried the toasted coconut and cream. I was very happy with the flavor combinations. The staff was very friendly and helpful in answering questions about the menu items and willing to share samples of the creams. There is indoor seat limited but comfortable. The menu has enough selections to satisfy most taste from kids to adults. The store has a good amount of parking and easy to access from major roadway. The store is new and I'm glad to have stopped in I would definitely recommend this location for anyone who wants a great ice cream...

Wow! La Michoacána Auténtica just climbed to the very top of my list for authentic favorites. Upon arrival I was first impressed with how clean, organized and beautifully embellished the shop was. I was greeted with warm and welcoming intentions and given a very thorough description of the items on the menu by Mr. & Mrs. Padilla. It is always a great feeling to feel welcomed when you’re going to make a purchase. I was very excited to find out that all of the items on the menu are made from whole and fresh ingredients. I ordered a small street corn (spicy) and a small banana pudding ice cream. My mind was blown at first bite. So overwhelmed by how delicious they both were, I had to run back in to compliment the owners! I also sampled the Piña Colada and Watermelon ice cream. They were both very delicious and most importantly FRESH! Hands down, these are the most delicious street corn and in house made ice cream I have ever tasted in my life! I’m going to share this business with my family, friends and coworkers. Such an unexpected marvelous encounter and decision to try out on a random Wednesday.
