This place recently opened, so we came by to check it out. We had early dinner on a Monday afternoon and my husband and I were the only customers. Within 5 minutes of being there, two bigger crowds came in. The lady who helped us was very kind and welcoming. We ordered a combination plate, catfish and shrimp, grilled flounder with grilled shrimp and steamed veggies. Both dishes came with hush puppies. I also ordered a tostada de aguachiles. We also ordered 6 piece wings, 3 naked, 3 hot. The grilled dish came with a house salad or you could pick coleslaw. The house salad was ehhh, (I'm not a fan of iceberg lettuce) your typical toppings, cheese, cucumber, tomato and your choice of dressing. The wait wasn't terribly long, especially since the lady serving us was pretty much doing it all on her own. Our dishes came out and they looked great. The flavor on both the fried and grilled dishes was excellent. The food was fresh and hot. The aguachiles tostada was so good! Just the right amount of spice and the crispiness of the purple/red onion was superb. Nothing fancy about the wings, but who comes to a seafood restaurant expecting the best wings. Since they recently opened, they were offering free drinks, which was nice of them. This place has potential, just needs the right amount of traffic. I definitely see myself coming back for the aguachiles. I wish the business success.

I’ve been craving good seafood and haven’t been able to find any since I’ve moved back to cypress unless I want to spend crazy money at Pappadeaux’s. The photos and reviews gave me hope for this place. I was so disappointed when I left. The restaurant was dirty. Visible stains and debris on the floor. And the place had an unpleasant smell. I ordered a shrimp and stuffed crab combo. Everything tasted freezer burned and was way over cooked. The stuffed crab were confusing. What are they stuffed with?? Was it mushy rice? Breadcrumbs? I couldn’t tell. And the taste was not good. The shrimp were rubbery and were cooked so long that white stuff was oozing through the breading. The fries were the best thing on the plate. I wanted to love this place so bad. I guess I’ll keep looking.

Came to eat here based on their 4.9 rating. They ain’t lying. We started off with fried calamari. Not one single ring was rubbery. Cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The fried oysters were just perfect. We found a pearl in one. The waitress said the oysters are shucked fresh and then fried. I don’t eat hush puppies, but did their version - which was like pieces of funnel cake. We had two tostadas - ceviche and aquachile. The fished was diced a little too finely for ceviche (for my preference). While they don’t serve booze (and I don’t do tequila), I could’ve drank the aquachile juice after a tequila shot. It was hard not to drink the juice. The actual tostada shells were light and crispy. Everything was just flavored and seasoned beautifully. Someone there loves to cook.

We just ate there. They are so nice and attentive. The food was just as good as everyone else is saying. Love the hushpuppies. I usually do not eat hushpuppies because sometimes they are dry and boring. That is not the case with theirs. They are wonderful. I ate four. I do not do that. They are not stingy with them either. I had to stop myself since I was so full from the rest of the food too. We ordered calamari, a dozen oysters, flounder with shrimp, and flounder with scallops. The calamari was nicely breaded and fried. It was tender and crispy and not greasy. My family was happy with the oysters as well. Our meals came with a nice size house salad. Everything in the salad was fresh. The meals also came with a baked potato, if you choose the potato. Not a small, but a nice sized one. The flounder, shrimp and scallops were broiled. They were all well seasoned, not over seasoned. Some placed like to go over on season. This was nicely done and not overpowering. The shrimp was tender and the scallops seemed like they could melt in your mouth. They are also so nice and attentive. We appreciate it. Love the food. I cannot not say enough great things about them and their food. Try it for yourself. We highly recommend. Don't miss out. Cannot wait to go again.

Thank you Blue...
