UPDATED 2025 Still best pho in town. They’ve been consistently open for more than a year. Staff seems happier. UPDATE 1/29/2023 Best pho in town – – if they’re open. For the past few months, they’ve been closing at 6 PM or 7 PM citing they’ve run out of food. Now, closed 12 days for Lunar New Year. Unreliable at best. Hopefully, you’re not met with scowls like we have been for the past month. If you hate work that much, just shut down already. I’m sure this post will get me banned from there. Yes! Yes! And yes!!!! I HAVE FINALLY FOUND MY PHO PLACE! So immaculately clean. Staff so sweet. To go service so fast. Now to the food. I usually get pho to go. This is the only place I have found that uses boxes, so the noodles, meat, onions and cilantro aren’t all crammed and smooshed. The broth is perfect without the anise/cinnamon taste overpowering anything. Love. Love. Love.

I decided to give Pho Danh another try, but unfortunately, my experience wasn’t much different from last time. While the food is still decent, I noticed the quality has declined a bit, especially considering the prices have gone up by $1-$2. The pho had a good flavor, but it just didn’t hit the same mark as it used to. The service is pretty much the same — you’re seated, your order is taken, but there’s no follow-up throughout the meal. After finishing, you pay at the counter, where the cashier could definitely use a bit more customer service training. I didn’t feel particularly welcomed. Overall, it’s an okay spot if you’re craving pho, but with rising prices and inconsistent quality, it might not be my first choice next time.

It has been awhile, but I'm so glad I came back to one of my favorite pho restaurants. They make their broth fresh daily. How do I know? While I was there, they ran out of broth, and had to turn down many disappointed customers. I felt so lucky to get mine. The staff is friendly and attentive, and never condescending. One of the very few pho places that will let you totally customize your soup, but for me, I just ordered the special. It came with a full load of vegetables, and they are extremely generous with their beef. The broth is simply perfection. You would be hard pressed to find better in Southwest Houston, let alone Cypress. I topped of my meal with a cafe sua da. So satisfying, I sat in absolute bliss afterwards.

This place used to me our favorite place to come and eat. But there is a very rude guy he was very rude to everyone except when it was too young girls he would flirt and he looks on his 50s I would never go back he was very rude. The food is very good. The service is absolutely terrible. The guy that I’m talking about is an older Asian guy. He is extremely rude not once. Did they come by the table to see if we were OK or wanted a different drink or a refill or would have you. When it was time to pay, my husband and I got up, went to go pay and we were having issues with the card my husband asked if you could pay in cash and the guy got an attitude and said no so my husband went on his phone to try to see what the issue was so that way he could continue to pay with the card after moving money around the man was so upset that he had been inconvenienced to wait. And then he said, OK OK just give me the cash rushing my husband. The issue was, I didn’t have enough money in cash to pay and also leave a tip so I wanted to pay with the card and then leave him a cash tip after this experience however, we did not leave any tip at all. He Made us feel unwelcome, and we will not...

I called and ordered to go. Pho Chin Nam, one of their many combination options listed on the menu I retrieved online. I arrived, walked in and was met with the most annoyed scowls. You can definitely feel the unhappy energy from the staff. When I asked for my order, the man snatched it from the back counter and just put it right in front of me. At this point I was over the interaction and he was just standing there looking at me as if he was ready for me to leave. He didn't realize I still needed to pay, so I asked him how much. At that point the man just hastily rang up the amount did a quick transaction and handed me back my change. I paid in cash left a tip which included a few dollars and the rest of the change. As I walked out I could hear the register slam shut and the tip being thrown into some container. This behavior is completely uncalled for and extremely unprofessional.

However! I got home and the Pho was AMAZING!!! I wish the...

Pho Danh has the best pho I have had in Houston. When picking up Thai food next door, I could smell the broth cooking. It was obvious then, that this is not your run of the mill soup and sandwich shop. First off, pho is the only dish served here so bear that in mind. This place allows full customization of your pho, has fantastic portions, and very fresh veggies and greens. It is immaculately clean throughout the entire restaurant, with great lighting. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and polite. Though often it's run by a skeleton crew, they manage to keep things moving pretty smoothly most of the time. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming. They have a pretty good beverage selection as well. Great place for a quick bite or an extended meal. There is plenty of room for large parties. There are kids pho menu items. It is wheelchair accessible. Open 10AM-8:30PM Monday through Friday and 8AM-8:30 on weekends. Check...
