For years we had friends that would mention that this was the best Mexican food in the Magnolia area. . . well my wife and I finally decided to give it a try this week and let me say, I would have to agree I think it is the best Mexican food restaurant so far I have tried in the old Magnolia area. The place is in Pinehurst so not really Magnolia and not really Tomball. . . . but nice because not a busy or high traffic area. Outside and inside of the restaurant were very nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I forget our waitresses name (maybe Emma) but she was great at giving some recommendations especially since it was our first time. Even little things like the owner/manager thanking us for coming on the way out was nice (that seems hard to even get these days). The menu had lots of options and was very reasonable priced. Portion size was very good especially considering the price. Restaurant is really big, so lots of space to sit and was nice because it was quiet for a Mexican food/cantina style restaurant. I had enchiladas which were very good, my wife had the special which was a chicken dish that she said was excellent. Chips and salsa were not great, but not horrible either. We will definitely be back as their are lots of other things on the menu I would like to try. We did not have any alcohol but the bar area was very nice as well. The only thing I did not like is the booths are not the best as I could constantly feel the guy sitting behind me moving (and my wife said the same on her side). Other than that however, no complaints I am glad we tried it out. Give this place a try if you are looking for good Mexican food a little of the beaten path.

Food is Terrible! Tastes like a microwave TV dinner. Husband and I went tonight and ordered Reynosa Dinner an enchilada plate with tamale. Chicken in the enchilada had no flavor and tasted like frozen meat. The rice and beans were edible but the enchilada sauce tasted like it was from a can. Red salsa very strong garlic flavor and cold chopped up tomatoes. Very disappointed and will not be returning. Next time I will drive further into Houston for real Mexican food. If you don't want to drive at least save your money and buy a frozen dinner at the grocery store. Most "good" review for this place only mentions good alcoholic drinks or atmosphere. Food is low quality.

This had recently become our go-to Mexican spot. Service is always fast whether it's chips, drinks, or food. Plenty of choices on a large lunch menu for a chance to always try something new, but odds are you'll find a favorite and keep going back. Margaritas are tasty and deceptively strong. Been meaning to go and catch a game to get a chance to enjoy drinks and the chicharrones, but always end up ordering a meal instead. Almost forgot, they have a nice rewards system that gets you free drinks and appetizers by using your phone!

Family and I went there on April 8, 2016 for the first time at the recommendation of a friend. We were greeted immediately when we entered the place and the staff was very friendly. Fresh chips, salsa and green sauce were brought out immediately. Waitress was very attentive and the staff continually brought out fresh chips and salsa and kept drinks filled. Wife and I both had a margarita (Gold which is like top shelf) and they were excellent AND strong - very fresh. We asked for food recommendations and were not disappointed. The "Manager's Special" is fajitas mixed in with jalapenos, bell peppers, onions and excellent seasoning. We also had chicken soft tacos and those were excellent. Saul (owner) made a point of stopping by to see if everything was going well. I observed his interactions with patrons and you can tell he genuinely cares about making his customers happy. Great food. Great service. Excellent drinks. Small business owner who hires staff that take care of customers. We'll be back and hope you'll stop in sometime and give your business to a small business owner with a great "neighborhood" Mexican restaurant in our area. ...

Spouse and I decided to try this place out. To us its new. Its about 1 block off 249. Very large and open space inside, I also seen a nice little outside patio area. We arrived about 7 or 7:30. Thin warm fresh chips red and green salsa. Salsa was good but just a touch to spicy for me. We ordered the chicken and beef fajitas with sour cream and cheese. Food came quick but not sizzling. This is not a problem however usually at other establishments it comes out sizzling. The chicken did not seem like it was fresh and cooked onsite. It reminded me of frozen strips that had been heated in microwave the texture was all wrong for chicken. The beef texture was good, tender but the flavor was lacking. Maybe this is a new place and they are working out the bugs. Maybe it was just...
