Marco's Burgers & More — Restaurant in Texas

Marco's Burgers and More is located on 495 one block east of Shary Rd. There are a variety of appetizers and burgers to choose from on the menu board, as well as, several Tex- Mex items. We ordered fried mushrooms, a bacon burger combo, and the avocado burger combo. On my combo I kicked up the fries with chili and cheese. The mushrooms were the standard frozen kind served with ranch, but the portion was large. Our burgers arrived a couple of minutes after the mushrooms were set down, no biggie, I enjoyed them with the burger. Overall the burgers were good but not over the top, and as my wife stated, the pattie lacked flavor. I ordered mine with the traditional veggies, and was surprised to see the onions badly hacked up instead of sliced or diced. I thought since I ordered the bacon burger, that it would be loaded with bacon, bacon jam, or at least thick bacon. Instead, it came with two thin strips of bacon. Honestly it was like any other burger place where you just add bacon to the burger. For the elevated price of both of these so called speciality burgers, I was really not that impressed. The fries are house made but were not the least bit crispy, and no seasoning. The chili on the fries was good, not bitter like some I've had in the past. Would I go back? With so many burger places yet to try, I'll definitely put this place at the back...

I don't go to this place because of the quality of service or speed of being served. I come for the burger! When it comes to service, I'm gonna be completely honest... it's basically as average as it gets! Lol. Nothing negative to report. But as an ex restaurant owner, this is one BEST burgers I've ever had. I'm a serious foodie, taveled all over the states. I know good food when I see it. Incredibly delicious! Full pound "Big M". I get it every time. And every time... it never let's me down. It's like i tasted it for the 1st time. Oh and make sure you take a friend to split it with because I doubt you'll be able to finish it! This isn't a "Dollar burger". So no, it's not a buck! If you expect cheap price, expect cheap quality. Fair price...

I really loved and enjoyed my Marco's Burger combo. The price fit the meal and overall I was extremely satisfied with my food. My Marco's burger included mayo, avocado slices, swiss & american cheese, ham, cripy bacon, mushrooms, tomatos, onions, jalapenos, pickles, lettuce and their ground rib eye patty. I got so full with my meal that I took half of my burger home. The combo includes fries and a drink. Free refills on fountain drinks. They have large screen tv's in the dining areas. It was a cozy place to eat and larger than I expected. The staff was helpful and friendly, they were all pretty cool. The place looked upkept and clean. It was a hit with me and I'll be going back to try even more...
