Mayfield Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Texas

I want to re-review 😊. Thank you Mr. Mayfield for caring about your customers‼️🤗 I decided to go back again and glad I did. Our first contact, Emily was friendly, courteous and patient. The manager, Will made my family feel welcomed and part of the DQ family. Food was delicious and of course the ice cream was yummy:) Glad to change my rating to 5 stars ⭐️ plus. If only all business owners cared so much.

LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE: I have gone to this DQ many times. Today’s visit was a total disappointment. This was a night out with my daughter and grandson. I understand they were having a fund raiser for a local school, but they first forgot an item even after repeating my purchase several times. When the meal came it was horrid. Dry, tasteless, portions smaller than usual. We still decided to order an ice cream and upon ordering it told the cashier about our experience. With a half hearted sorry, she said saying she will let them know. Finally I told the manager and again heard “sorry” and felt I was bothering her. It’s a neighborhood place my grandson looks forward to going and question if I should return. She saw I was with him. I belief poor food can happen especially on a busy day like this but there is no excuse for lack of customer service. If she had even offered a coupon for a free kids cone I would of felt she appreciated our patronage. Bottom line they would end of making more money .. upon return I doubt I would walk out...

Picked up food late last night after a RRHS football game and was a little disappointed with DQ. Tried to order a pup-cup for our dog, but they wouldn’t allow it because he wasn’t in the vehicle with us. It’s not like we were going to eat it. Well, rules are rules so we understood. We ended up purchasing a small ice cream cone to take home to our dog. We also ordered a basket, burger meal, and a triple meat burger. When I got to the window I asked if they could add a mini blizzard to my order and I was told “No” by an older lady named Christine or Christina, I believe that was her name. She said “Here at DQ we aren’t allowed to add anything at the window”. Really Mr. Mayfield, not even a min blizzard? So we paid and left. After arriving home we noticed that there were about 10-15 fries in our large order of fries. My kids who were still wanting a mini blizzard wound up going back to DQ with my wife. Of course we received attitude and terrible service again from the same lady. All of our experiences prior to last night have been really pleasant. We’ve been going there since it opened years back. It was also my oldest daughter’s first job. Management please address the issue with staff. I’d really hate to go elsewhere to grab a burger. Thank you in advance.

Had the worst experience at this location. I'm not sure if the girl cj or whatever her name was if she was having a bad day or what but she took it out on me. First off it was raining and I had already paid for the order so I tried to go into the drive thru. Well she told me that Dairy Queen's policy for online ordering was that I would have to come inside to pick up the order with this horrible attitude. I'm sorry but where does it even say that and I've been to two other stores around round Rock and cedar Park have NEVER been told this. She just told me that sorry we don't do that its policy that you must come inside..I go inside and even waited another fifteen minutes for my order that was supposed to already done when I arrived. I don't know what was goin on but two other employees asked if I wanted a cup of water or something while I waited. That was the only thing that had helped their situation that and the short older lady she was sweet and apologized for the wait. It was just a hot mess and that drive thru girl really needs to be checked because that's no way to treat a customer as if I was bothering her and didn't want me to make the drive thru times go up.
