Memphis Style Wingz & Thingz — Restaurant in Texas

I love this place. The food is always good. I have literally had everything on the menu. The customer service is always good as well, besides today. The place opens at 10. I was under the impression that once an establishment is open you're able to come for whatever service the business offers. The young man that was working this morning was VERY RUDE and offered TERRIBLE customer service. I personally work in customer service and am not a morning person but when it is time to work it is time to work. I rang the bell for service as the sign said. The young man was walking around the store purchasing items which is fine I was in no rush. After his purchase he walked over to the kitchen and said, " You ready to order already, we just opened. I responded yes. Then he so rudely asked me, Is this yoir first time? I looked at him and laughed it off and said No, if you're open then you're open for business right? He then asked me, what do you want? I said i wings Memphis honey gold. He then said we don't sale 8 wings and pointed rudely to a menu. Now M-F they have specials. Wed is $1 wing Wednesday. So I said, isn't it Wednesday, and he looked and said oh you right. I am trippin. No apology for the tone, lack of professionalism or rudeness. I paid for my food and went and sat in my car. The young man the comes outside and starts talking to a young lady in a car. Overall the customer service was a 0 out if 0. Typically this is not so. Everyone I have encountered has always been friendly and approachable. They even speak when they see you and you're not getting food. This review is in no way to discredit the quality of the food or the business itself. I just want to bring awareness to all family and friends DO NOT need to work for you. Some people are not cut out for customer service. Luckily for him I know how to conduct myself and not respond to ignorance in a manner that is counterproductive. I strongly don't think I will be back anytime soon based on this experience. Then all that AFTER I just found out one of my co -workers at my job passed away. I had a very wonderful experience at Memphis Style Wingz. The customer service was excellent. The owner went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. Even though she was the only one there, she still tried to deliver our food. We knew she was busy so we had no problem coming to get it. She was very nice, sweet and humbled person. The food was very good. That was my first time going with my family. The food was fresh and hot. My kids had the nachos, piled with meat and cheese and they loved it. My daughter likes only meat and cheese, but my son had the works and ate every bite. My husband and I had the honey gold wingz and they were really good. Nice and crispy covered in sauce, the fries were also seasoned really well. We will definitely be back to try more of the food. I ordered the pork chop dinner with fried okra and potato salad, loaded nachos, loaded fries, fried fish and fried onion rings and a link sandwich with fries. Spent about 65$. The people who work there are very nice. I have had the wings before which were very good and make me want to come back and try more. However the other items were not for me and my family. The fish was very mushy on the inside and the onion rings were burnt and chewy. The link sandwich is not a real link, it’s a store bought eckridge farm sausage that’s been fried on a bun. The potato salad is like the store bought from sams. The okra was good and the pork chops were pretty good and big as well. The loaded nachos and fries were pretty soggy and had bbq sauce on them which kind of threw the taste buds off. The fried items didn’t sit take so well as they started to get soggy really quickly.
