I'm a little behind in the times so today was my first ever grubhub order, I'm also still newer to Texas as I moved here a couple years back from Cali. There are still so many places we haven't tried. Today based on reviews we decided to order food from Mike's Taco House. We ordered a few items to try including nachos, chips with queso,chicken fajita taco, asada taco and a couple crispy tacos. The order arrived quickly and was packaged neatly. The GrubHub portion of this order was great! The problem we had was the actual food itself so no fault of grubhubs at all. My husband had the nachos and said they were ok and I had tried the chicken taco and was going to try the asada taco next. I pulled the foil wrapped item from the bag and placed it on my plate and when I opened the foil to grab a piece of steak to try I saw something odd?? So I grabbed it and inspected it only to discover it was a couple pieces of cooked Roly Poly bugs! Unfortunately my husband had already finished the nachos because obviously we were done earing at that point. I did call the restaurant in the hopes they could help remedy the situation but at the very least inform them so they could keep an eye out in the kitchen. As gross as it was I understand that there are bugs in TX and things happen. I think what was more frustrating than finding a bug in my food was the reaction of the restaurant. I can understand wanting to be in denial but he acted as if I was lying and it couldn't have happened. Even saying "no, for real? Nah that didn't happen, it must have been something else." I explained that I did know what a Roly poly looks like and that I'd also taken pictures and zoomed in to be sure of what I was seeing. As much as I'm sure he didn't want to hear that we didn't want to have lived that and my husband has been grossed out ever since. Had I called and they had been more apologetic or even offered something other than suspicion that I was making it up, I wouldn't have left a review. Especially considering we didn't even eat 75% or more...

Horrible customer service, the rude little girl working front counter and drive through didn’t understand or comprehend a simple question, on top of that they did not know how to cook over medium eggs instead they were completely fried and made the order to go instead of in restaurant, Whenever I suggested how to provide better customer service the rude kid had a bad attitude. When I arrived there was three people sitting there wondering where there order was then the kid walked out and told them they couldn’t find their ticket and what did they order, the dissatisfied customers told me they would not return again, then kid said they didn’t need my business when i told her I would not return, this place lost four customers in less than 20 minutes. Horrible customer service, the food was at best less than just ok but to have an attitude of we don’t need you and will do fine without you which is what she said to me is to be extremely arrogant and ignorant, if they run enough customers off, you have no customers and without customers you have no business to make money, I guess that’s what you get when you have rude disrespectful entitled kids running a restaurant, don’t go there you will be extremely disappointed, food for thought to the owners, get yourself employees with a smile on their face who know how to treat customers, if they have no customers svc skills keep them working in the back where they have no interaction with customers, you would do good as to not sabotage your business and teach all employees how to make people want to come back again.i would given half a...

My kids@I went here for the first time@I did enjoy the some of the service and food, the only thing that ruined the whole experience was when I was getting My Bill rung up!!, I was wondering to Myself, why the cashier /waitress kept sayin 2 waters plus My order@to My surprise this place actually charges for water@$1.25 for bottled water and wasn't even bottled water,when you are getting it from the soda fountain,thats kind of a New Low for any establishment!! I really Am thrown off by this concept! Who charges for water!?,@are you that hard up for Money that you have to charge for water! Wow!! Not to add I ordered My kids food off the child's menu and I was charged for Regular menu prices!! The waitstaff was to busy taking drive thru orders and eat in orders, so I guess she didn't hear Me when she took My order I just think she should of had someone else take drive thru orders for a little bit while she took Our order!! I was just upset about this because I ended up spending more than I wanted!! I was going to bring this up to mgmt., but I just paid and left!! Just remember great Customer service comes with a smile, good Communication and corrections if needed to customers orders!! Any how with this all said and done, I will Never give this establishment My business Again!! Don't charge for water and give your customers your Full Attention when they are dining in@don't take advantage of your customers or you will Lose business!! I ordered the mini tacos. First of all the girl didn't ask me what kind of meat i wanted on them , i just figured she'd ask me when i paid, she didnt. So asked her what kind of meat they came with, she said anything i want but usually its asada, i said ok thats fine. Well i get home and theres just the greasiest meat on grease soaked tortillas no onion and no cilantro on the tacos even though the receipt says there is. Also i asked her if she put salsa in the bag, she did one little cup full for five tacos. This place is way over priced and the food quality and service is garbage. Id give them zero stars if i could.

Good menu, good food and a convenient drive thru. 7/12/24 that chicken quesadilla was good, soo 🧀 🐁 4/7/25 purchased 2 more Chicken Quesadillas last week and Saturday, I finally actually tried tacos. Of all things I haven't tried from Mike's Taco House, I've had soups, quesadillas, nachos, but never tacos. And I have to say I'll definitely be back for another quesadilla ;) the chedder in the tacos, though, took me back to a naihborhood restaurant we used to visit growing up.

Good menu, good food and a convenient drive thru. 7/12/24 that chicken quesadilla was good, soo 🧀 🐁 4/7/25 purchased 2 more Chicken Quesadillas last week and Saturday, I finally actually tried tacos. Of all things I haven't tried from Mike's Taco House, I've had soups, quesadillas, nachos, but never tacos. And I have to say I'll definitely be back for another quesadilla ;) the chedder in the tacos, though, took me back to a naihborhood restaurant we used to visit growing up.
