Molly Malone's Pub — Restaurant in Texas

Wife and I as well as a couple friends have enjoyed this little spot for over a decade. The Bartenders have always treated us well, and deserve props. Even when I was shocked by the tab one night, because I ended up with the bulk of it after friends left. The young man behind the bar showed me my itemized ticket, without attitude, and he was right! Ha...my buddy skipped out! The place is not uptight at all, has a decent Shuffleboard table, and is relaxed. You can go here and chill, although you still get the occasional, obnoxious drunk loud clown, or the lurker guy who simplemindedly flirts with your gf or wife whenever your back is turned or you go to the men's room, thinking he is slick. All bars get those types and they can't help it. If you treat it as entertainment though, it's all good. Overall a nice little hideaway, tucked into the corner of a strip mall. Great Neighborhood pub for folks...

Saturday night March 2nd 2019: there was a band playing live. They were very good and kept the place fun and lively. However, it was a bit loud and difficult for all our friends to hear each other converse unless we shouted within 15 inches of each other's ear. The wait staff is very friendly and good. My only discomfort was the indoor smoking. This is a wonderful bar to go to if you enjoy smoking inside bars, which yes I do see the fun in it. But since I don't smoke anymore I'm sensitive to smoke and it irritated my eyes. There's a few games I noticed, a golf video game, a classy long wooden shuffle board table, and a few others that I can't remember. I ordered a few Shiner Bock beers, they came in very clean and super chilled (frosty) beer glasses. The beer was exactly how it should've been, I highly recommend it if you like dark beers with...

This sports pub is rarely too crowded and it always has the friendly familiar feel of home. This "Cheers" like establishment is full of familiar friends and family, home to the local citizens of the neighborhood, and always feels welcome to those who breech the threshold to saddle up to its bar to enjoy a refreshing beer or a favorite cocktail. The establishment also features shuffleboard, 2 pool tables, dart boards, karaoke, Golden Tee, a variety of TVs showing all popular sports games of the season, internet juke box, daily drink and food specials, and free pool on two nights, Monday being one of them. Not sure if the other night is Sunday or Tuesday. To find out is just another reason to come check it out. As if you didn't have enough reasons already....
