Ostioneria Michoacan #6 — Restaurant in Texas

When we got to the restaurant there was no one at the front door to greet us. We thought that it was the kind of restaurant where you sit yourself. So we went and sat at a table. Took about 10 min for a server to come ask "what do you want to drink?" Literally that's what she said with a real bad attitude. She also said "and just to let you know we have no water nor sodas from the machine" so we proceeded to order some drinks. After she brought them she left and didn't even ask if we wanted to order an appetizer or anything. She then came back after sitting another table and taking their order (how do I know? Because they got their food before we did) so we order some oysters, she brought one order out first and like 10 min after another one. Then we were ready to order real food and she just kept walking by our table without even asking if we were ready to order. So finally I waved and said we were ready to order. She brought the food out and when we asked for more sauce because she had only brought a .5oz container of sauce for 4 people she rolled her eyes and expressed she was not happy about us wanting more sauce. So little things like this happened through our time there, and obviously my way of showing her how unhappy I was with her service was going to be by only tipping 10% Apparently she knew she was going to get a small tip because she decided to go ahead and tip herself by adding 15% to my total. I refused to pay that and I asked the manager in charge if that's usually what they do because I had never seen that, and the manager said they are only supposed to do it if it's a table of 6 people or more. Our table had 4 people, by this time I can see the girl was mad, not even sure why because she was the one being rude and providing horrible service. I should've been mad at her and should've probably told her how rude she had been from the beginning. I am not writing the review to say they have bad food, the food was actually decent. I am writing this review in hopes of them providing better customer service. Maybe management needs to provide more training as far as customer service and maybe decide if the people they hire are a fit for their business. I really really hope they do a better job. P.S. if you guys close at 10 or 10:30pm you need to update your Google hours. It says on there you close at 11pm and when we were there your door was locked by 10:30... that also doesn't look good...

Mexican seafood restaurant on the I-45 feeder Road heading to Houston Texas near The Woodlands Texas. In a strip shopping center it is easy to see from the roadway. But traffic is very heavy around that area. The parking lot is clean and wide and easy to park. They have a handicap access ramp. the restaurant is clean and the tables are well set up. They have a fish tank and signs on the wall offering their specials. The server comes over immediately and offers to get a drink and another server brings chips and salsa. The salsa was unusually good. The chips were also good just like I like them. I went for the lunch special because lunch specials are before 3 p.m.. you can see the menu on my photos. Most items are seven or eight dollars and that's quite a good special for shrimp and fish with french fries and rice and chips and salsa. Quite a good deal for a seafood meal on the lunch special. The food takes a little while to come out but they cook it individually. If you walk around the side you can see in the kitchen. That's a nice touch I like that to know that it's clean. The food came out and was very hot. It tasted very good. The breading was well done and it was cooked just right. It was a large portion and was over hanging the plate. It came with a piece of bread also. my total check for two people was $16. Plus I left a cash tip. It was my first time here and I will be back again. I'd had been to other of these restaurants in other locations. This one the food tasted just as good. I highly recommend this to anyone. Please leave a thumbs up if you like my review and...

DO NOT COME EAT HERE GO EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE.........................This evening my wife and I had decided to go take the family out to eat overthere &.....to start things off...My wife had ordered the Mojarra frita.... (fried fish) The Mojarra frita that she ordered was barely seasoned..so, naturally she complained & had it sent back to the kitchen......THEN when she got it back she started to eat it and then SHE DISCOVERED A RUBBER GLOVE AT THE BOTTOM OF HER FRIED RICE................... DISGUSTING......So naturally we all complained about it....& what was even more disgusting than the glove in the rice (IT ALMOST FEELS AS IF IT WAS PURPOSEFULLY DONE IN RETALIATION FOR HER SENDING THE FISH BACK TO THE KITCHEN) was the staff's reaction to the whole incident.......... FOR ONE THING... THE MANAGER MADE HIMSELF UNAVAILABLE sending a waitress in his place instead.. claiming to be "the manager "...then her failing to compromise with my family to make right for finding that disgusting glove in her rice ..... It was so bad that we had all lost our appetite after seeing it......YET..The management was unwilling to let's us leave without having to pay NO ONE ATE!!! Nothing should've been paid for.. instead they just took $23 for the fried fish out of the ticket... leaving us to pay for an un consumed meal........... like I'd stated earlier.......DO NOT EAT HERE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR & GO EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE.......The food is horrible and the service is...
