When I first contacted, DJ, my intent was only to get his advice on whether a grill or a smoker would be appropriate for my needs. Then, I would take his information and feedback and shop it on the Internet for the best price. we knew that we wanted something better than the premium lines, but we’re not sure whether the luxury lines were right for us.
When I received from DJ was far more than I ever expected or had hoped for.
After our first conversation, I realized that DJ was incredibly knowledgeable, and willing to help folks from across the state - who might not even make a purchase from him. After spending quite a lot of time with him, he truly understood my needs and wants. We discussed a variety of options within the premium and luxury lines, along with their pros and cons. Given this, he recommended that we would be happy with either the twin eagle pellet smoker or the alfresco natural gas grill. The limiting factor was whether we intended to do much smoking.
After our fifth or sixth conversation, I came to realize that we needed both a smoker and a natural gas grill. Therefore, my wife and I made the faithful decision to purchase both the twin eagle pallet and the alfresco natural gas grill.
The thing that impressed me the most about DJ and Texas star Grill shop was their commitment to customer service. While I thought purchasing from one of the big e-commerce grill shops, halfway across the country would be the best for me, my wife and I came to realize very quickly That DJ proves that by providing exceptional information to client, resulting in excellent customer service, clients will be ultimately far more satisfied with their purchases.
For a major investment, such as the smoker and the grill, I never imagined that I would feel so well taken care of. I believe that the culture established at the Texas Star Grill Shop has established the bar that all others should aspire for everyone, not only cares about their customers, but they also care about establishing long-term relationships.

Read moreI live for shopping local and supporting local businesses. So I spent $5000 at the store in The Woodlands for two grills. The grills were not delivered to the store within the time i was told. When then did come into their warehouse, i was told it would be two more days to get it from their warehouse to the woodlands store. I went to pick up the two grills.
I tried to get some help with the gas connections and i was told to "hire a plumber". Zero help at all...
I can't recommend these guys. I won't tell you the service was terrible, I'll let you come to your own conclusion from their actions after the sale.
I'm thankful that i did not spend the additional$21k on the kitchen from them. I can't imagine what a mess i would be in.
Do your homework. If service after the sale is important to you, consider another source for your BBQ products and...
Read moreThe guys at Texas Star Grill really care about their customers and their community. They donated a pellet grill to our school's silent auction fundraiser... I mean, who does that?
In addition to their massive generosity, they have top notch customer service. When I went in to collect the grill, they were crazy friendly, suggested items I might have forgotten and then they even loaded the grill into my vehicle for me. I had not told the guy yet, but I just had surgery on my leg last week. I was worried about having to figure out how to get the thing loaded, but then before I could even mention it, the grill was halfway into my car.
