Hi there, I'm Devin and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fukuda, a Japanese restaurant that completely exceeded my expectations. Here's my 5-star review of the experience:
From the moment I stepped into Fukuda, I knew I was in for a treat. The decor is minimalistic and sleek, with warm lighting that creates an inviting atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.
But what really stole the show was the food. I've had my fair share of Japanese cuisine, but Fukuda's dishes were truly next level. Each dish was prepared with such care and precision, and the flavors were out of this world. I highly recommend trying the sushi, which was some of the freshest I've ever had. The tempura was also outstanding - light and crispy, with just the right amount of seasoning.
Another thing that impressed me about Fukuda was the attention to detail. Each plate was beautifully presented, almost like a work of art. The portion sizes were also just right, so I didn't feel uncomfortably full or like I didn't get enough to eat.
Overall, I can't recommend Fukuda enough. If you're looking for an authentic Japanese dining experience, this is definitely the place to go. The food, service, and ambiance all deserve a perfect 5-star rating. I'll definitely be...
Read moreThe staff is great . Always friendly and positive . We have had mostly great experiences here with the sashimi . It’s always really fresh and that’s most important . One thing I would like to take note of is that the sushi bar will begin closing up about an hour to an hour and a half . If you are at a table then you wiki not be bothered by this . If you sit at the sushi bar ( which we love ) you will notice the mopping , the bleach smell as they clean , the kitchen staff jamming their music as they bang around filling up stacks of plates at the bar etc . When we asked if they closed early this particular evening they said no we close at 9 . It was 7:30 ! It was not the kind of relaxing evening we wanted to spend . I can understand if we chose to come in at 8:45 but an hour and a half prior to closing was a bit disappointing. They should just close the sushi bar down completely if they have to begin the moping and cleaning that early . Most of the sushi staff are excellent and knowledgeable . The one “ head “ sushi guy Brian is not kind , not friendly and and speaks to his staff poorly . I would avoid his side of the sushi bar if you go. He’s the one who never smiles and never greets anyone . The others make us feel welcome and they are kind and...
Read moreAlways great service and great food. Dinner bento boxes are 21$ for a reason, they come with a lot. Try soup, salad, rice, 2 choices of a main meal, vegetable tempura, and 2 additional sides. Sushi is also always good. Recently saw the halloween decorations and wow, someone's arms must've been tired hanging the spider webs. I order the bento box every time I go and some sushi. Sushi has always been good. It's a little hidden gem. I've never been when there was a wait. I've always been seated quickly.
Visited 10/02/2021, 20-30 minute wait. extremely disappointed once sat. Bento boxes? Gone or at least no longer on the Saturday night dinner menu. Poor service? ✅ Sat us at the sushi bar, barely got any service. After we were sat and given our waters it was ~15 minutes before we saw anyone again. Salad was just uncomfortably large pieces of lettuce with watered down dressing. Miso soup tasted instant. Just 4 greasy little crab puffs. Chicken teriyaki was dry, plus too little sauce, vegetable tempura it came with wasn't well cooked. Chicken Katsu was soggy yet a little dry and oddly eggy. Will not be coming back anymore. Sushi was okay. Not...
