Outlaw Ray's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Texas

It's the Texas version of cheers. The staff remembers you and treats you like an old friend. Great food too! Some of the best chili I've ever had. Try the cheese steak quesadilla... (if the new management remembered to order it) it's awesome! One of my favorite places to go! However... an addendum to this post that I left long ago... new management took away the 28 Oz. Beers! Total deal breaker! One of my most enjoyable parts of going! If it ain't broke... Don't fix it. Plus, last time I was there... y'all ran out of the food that i have always counted on ! I'd like to continue going to outlaws but it's a bit of a drive when I can simply drive down the street to big city wings and enjoy 32 Oz. Beers and they had the foresight to order food that's on the menue. Let me know if y'all change your mind and go back to the years of keeping...

BANNED FOR SWEET TEA! Last night me and my husband went to outlaw Ray's and we were having a good time. Shooting pool and playing music and enjoying our selfs. He was drinking. Me being 19 I can't drink so I order sweet tea. My husband was about to get another drink. PAID FOR THE DRINK! They then told him he can't drink anymore. So we left in a nice manner. There was no yelling screaming nothing. So we left and waited on our lyft. As we're sitting they're the security guard walks out and says " hey man your banned and so is your wife for having liquor in her cup" I looked at the security guard and said " I got sweet tea they're was no liquor in my cup. I'm underage and I know the rules." Then he yelled at us saying we we're banned and to get on. So we left. IVE NEVER BEEN IN A BAR WHERE THEY THROW YOU OUT FOR DOING...

Vibe is great over all, fair beer prices, and plenty of bar food to choose from. Pool tables are all diamond that appear fitted with simonis cloth and maintained decently. The back portion of the establishment opens up to a pool hall featuring 7ft and two 9ft diamond tables. Unfortunately, this section is only open Thursday-saturday after 6pm. Years back, before 2020, this section was open after 6pm everyday. I believe this area being open beyond the current hours/days would be beneficial to the establishment and also pool enthusiasts. I'm sure during the early hour traffic would be slow at first, but overtime would garden a consistent player base for those who take pool seriously.
