Update - 07/08/24 == if it wern't for the DQ logo on the building, you would not recognize what this eatery is putting out. Definitely, NOT anything close to what I knew as the Crosby DQ back in the day. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and the bread felt as though it was 1-2weeks old! Why can't the owner get it right???!!! Oh well, gonna have to take my money elsewhere for a while. ... Ughhh!
Older Comments: The service at this Dairy Queen Store totally SUCKS!! The clerk forgot to include my hot fudge sundae along with the order when giving it to my husband, so he comes home without all of my order. I then get into my car and go up to the DQ store and requested (nicely) the sundae that they missed including in my husband's order. I am a long time customer of this DQ store, and when ordering hot fudge sundaes, I usually ask for cool whip topping, nuts and a cherry on the top. So, true to form, I ordered it the same way this time. Well, the clerk says to me that the whip topping, nuts and cherry were going to be extra. I responded by saying that I didn't know these things were extra and that since they messed up on my husband's order, causing me to have to drive all the way back up to DQ, they should just give me my sundae how I ordered it - without me paying extra. Besides, I took no money with me when going to pick up my sundae, as I was not expecting to have to pay for it. So, the clerk told me to pull on up to the window. Well, by then, there was a different clerk up at the window and when I got my sundae, not only did it not include the whip topping, nuts and cherry -- it was made with chocolate syrup instead of hot fudge. What I really wanted to do was throw the sundae into the drive-in window, but I told the (now, 3rd clerk) that I was going to express my dissatisfaction with the service at the DQ on FM2100 in Crosby, TX 77532. She seemed to care less. I also told her that I used to work at DQ (long years ago) and was trained that the customer is always right. It's sad that many of the kids that work at these places have no regard for what is good customer service. In Crosby, TX down FM 2100 there are a lot of other fast food stores that complete with DQ. And, you know, as a long-time customer of DQ, I will not be going back to their store any time soon. There are at least 4 other fast food shops within the quarter-mile stretch that sell the same thing. So, tonight, all three DQ clerks get one star for shitty customer...
Read moreOrder #830 on 6-8-21 at 4:20pm. Cashier name: Deicy M. From the start of the ordering process in the drive through, “Deicy” was short with her speaking, and not professional in the process. Let out a sigh when she had to change something in the ordering.
Once we got to window she would slam the window after paying with the card, and in order we ordered large ice cream cones. My coworker and I work in a plant and enjoy the afternoon cool DQ cone, but unfortunately the cone was small. All we said was “we ordered large cones, I believe these are smalls” she said “well I didn’t make it.” And slammed the drive through window. We went on our way, didn’t make a scene and just thought she was having a bad day. Once checking the #2 combo we ordered which was also made a large, a small fry was given, and we had said (says on receipt) only ketchup, lettuce and cheese on the burger. There was onion pieces and mustard on the burger.
I understand fully of having a tough day at work. But from the start our experience was not what we have come used to with Daiyqueen. (We travel for work in plants, and visit them all over the state!) this cashier was a terrible experience, and the order was wrong and many ways to one. I do not expect a refund, and more then likely will not be through that area of town again. But will definitely pick another location before picking the DQ at 14027 FM...
Read moreWe stopped in yesterday for a banana split and a dipped cone. We went inside to order and we are really glad that we did. The staff at the counter was lethargic and seemed to be spaced out. They said they could only take cash, which really surprised the person ahead of us as she had apparently been there 10 minutes waiting for a cake (she left without the cake). We had cash so it wasn't a big deal. But, after ordering and waiting for a few minutes, watching the staff wander back and forth looking for change and supplies. We got our change in quarters that smelled like diesel. Odd, but okay. We waited a few more minutes and then saw someone bring a BROWN banana from the back, cut the ends off and slice it in half. I stopped them at that point and told them that the banana was obviously rotten. They both looked at me as if I had two heads. I decided to cut my losses and get my money back. This wasn't as easy as it sounds, but not worth going into. We were heading up the road so we stopped at the DQ in Dayton. We got the order we wanted with a fresh banana and it was $2 cheaper. I can only say that had we gone through the drive through and received rotten food I would be writing a much...
