Picositos Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Texas

The food was good and the service was nice. The only thing is, I I entered with my children and no one was there to greet us and the whole restaurant was empty. There was no other customers at all. Then when I was thinking of leaving after me saying hello three different times someone came out and greeted us to a table and when I sat down, the seats had salt on them. The waiter apologized and was very polite. I chose another booth. After that, no one ever went there to clean it up the whole time we were there. Again the restaurant was empty until 35 minutes in and then more customers started coming. It's a place that allows smoking and I've already lost an uncle from second-hand smoking so I am not okay with eating at a restaurant that allows smoking, not for my children and I. If it weren't for those things it would have been a five star. Thanks...

Decided to try this place based on Google reviews. I was in the area and wanted to try a new Mexican restaurant. There are others in the area, but this one seemed to be the most genuine one based on the reviews.

The place feels dated it looks like it hasn't been updated in 20 years. To me, that's what I want to see in a Mexican restaurant.

The chips and salsa were traditional. The salsa is served warm.

The fajitas were decent. I thought the beef out did the chicken. The beef was pretty good in my opinion. The tortillas were good. The shrimp was cooked perfectly.

The service felt like it was a family serving you. They took good care of us.

This is one of my favorite near by Mexican restaurant, its inexpensive and the pick up orders are usually ready within ten minutes. The chicken enchiladas are the best, dont worry about eating things you dont recognize because it's all good and made to order. I usually order my enchiladas specially made and they have no problem obliging. The manager has been there for a long long time so he will give you really good service. If you want to dine in i recommend the pinacolada, the manager makes a really good one, and if your kids are coming too have him make them a virgin pinacolada they are very tasty. Definitely...
