I managed Popeyes restaurants in the 80's for 2 years and 7 months, never missed a day, when we hand made the biscuits from scratch. Mixing buttermilk with seasoned flour to rolling out and cutting to finished baking and topping with melted butter, we hand mixed the Cole Slaw, cooked the rice daily for Cajun Rice and Red Beans and Rice, we served Chicken Tacos and had a Breakfast menu, etc, etc. Yesterday, I stopped in at this Popeyes only to find out that you no longer serve Cajun Rice, a staple of Louisiana quesine and Popeyes from the beginning. I loved it and loved to mix it with the Cole Slaw and dice up a Jalapeño in it!!! Simply Delicious with the Spicy Chicken and a freshly made Biscuit or two. With a side order of the largest freshly battered Onion Rings you have ever seen!!! Now, you have continued to degrade the size of the chicken, ship in frozen biscuits and stop selling Cajun Rice and serve soggy green beans that taste slimy like they are a day or two old. Few times do I feel like the chicken is fresh now that most ordering is through the drive thru, Covid, when you get home the chicken has to be reheated, the biscuits are hard, no Cajun Rice to mix with the Cole Slaw, no Onion Rings, I really think Popeyes has lost the pride in the product that you serve for the all-mighty dollar or some other reason because what I learned working at Popeyes, the pride I had in the products we served back in the 80's is not the products I see being served these days, at least not to me. Maybe it's because I don't stop in during the lunch or dinner rush, when I would hope the products would be a better quality than what I receive at 8 or 9 pm. Like the product is sitting past the hold times at those slower customer count hours and the employees/management are serving sub standard product to keep waste in the allowable range. Whatever the reason or reasons I will not be visiting Popeyes in the near future due to my disappointment in what I used to tell everyone that I talked to about fried chicken and biscuits that Popeyes was the very best, least greasy Fast Food Chicken in the business!!! Not at this time, I'm...
Read moreI came in at night because I get off work at night. I have been here 4 times this week at around the same time. And each time the women at the window are rude, snippy and have a major attitude. I don't know her name. But one of the younger girls at the window didn't close the window all the way before she started cussing about me and my girlfriend out to her coworkers, she even joked saying that she'd undercook our chicken just so we don't come back. When she saw the window was open she got mad at me like I opened her window. She glared at me as if I just kicked her puppy.
And on top of that, they have messed up my order every time I've been here. Tonight they gave me the wrong size drink and added things to my sandwich that I told them not to add. When I came back inside to have it corrected I was left at the counter for 15 minutes before someone finally decided they wanted to acknowledge my existence.
Last time they gave me someone else's order and when I came back for my order they still messed up and gave me the wrong order.
The day staff if fantastic but the night staff is the absolute worst. Horribly unprofessional and rude.
Don't EVER go here at night. I'll also be filing a major complaint with corporate on...
Read moreUpon recently relocating to the area, I decided to give this establishment a try. However, my experience was far from satisfactory. Letâs start with the service: The assistant manager, a young Hispanic gentleman, seemed to struggle with English, which made communication difficult. Despite there being no other customers present, he rushed me to place my order, leaving me feeling uneasy and unwelcome.
Now onto the food: While it was passable, it left much to be desired. The lack of sauce was particularly disappointing, as it detracted from the overall taste and enjoyment of the meal. I also ventured to Popeyes to sample their new wings, only to find them equally underwhelming.
Considering the rushed service and mediocre food quality, I cannot in good conscience recommend this location. Despite its proximity to my home, I will be exploring other options in the future. As a paying customer, feeling valued and enjoying a satisfying meal are important to me, and unfortunately, this visit fell short on...
