If you choose to utilize the drive through, prepare to argue and check your order. I ordered a 3 piece tenders with barbecue sauce. When I got to the window and was handed my food I asked “is the barbecue sauce in the bag?”. I was told you ordered buffalo sauce. I said, no I ordered barbecue sauce. He then points to the receipt and says - see it says buffalo sauce. To eliminate any confusion, this isn’t a self service drive through where I physically enter my order, the employees listen and enter the order. So again I said - I ordered barbecue not buffalo and finally after more arguing I was given a barbecue sauce. Unfortunately when I got home I then discovered I did not get chicken tenders but regular fried chicken. While this in itself is annoying, it probably wouldn’t have annoyed me so much if I hadn’t spent 5 minutes arguing to get a barbecue sauce (that I didn’t even really need since I didn’t get the tenders that I ordered). I seriously contemplated bringing this order back but I am sure they would point to my receipt and say - it doesn’t say tenders! Clearly, the person taking drive through orders can either not hear or not understand what it being said and then assumes because he entered it into the computer that makes the order whatever he entered it as. So anyway, I guess at the end of the day this is all really my fault because I didn’t check my order or my receipt, but I post this as warning so you don’t waste $10 and time arguing and then receiving an incorrect order. Just go...
Read moreI visited at 7:34 p.m. and placed my order at the drive-thru. Instead of receiving my food promptly, I was asked to pull away from the window and wait near the trash can—apparently to avoid being counted on their service time metrics. Unfortunately, this practice made it feel like I was expected to wait indefinitely. After 20 minutes, my order was not ready, and had to go inside to pick up my order. The food was not hot, which is completely unacceptable after such a long wait. There was no communication about the wait time, nor any apology. When I asked about the wait time, I received no clear answer and was left standing. Additionally, I did not receive a receipt immediately after payment. To make matters worse, the option to choose between spicy or regular chicken felt misleading, as my spicy chicken wrap contained regular chicken. After such a frustrating experience, I left with the food that wasn’t even fresh. This level of service is unacceptable for a fast-food establishment, especially one known for its chicken. This Popeyes needs to address its communication, food quality, and drive-thru service to ensure a better...
Read moreWe spent a lot of money at Popeye's - many different locations in the area. This is the THIRD time at this store that we have complained and/or thrown the food away. When you order spicy, you get regular because that's what they have prepared....the last time we went, the chicken was SO old and dry and yet completely greasy to the point we could see the grease pool on the bottom of the box. How does that even happen - both DRY and GREASY all at once? The biscuits - which Popeye's has always had the best biscuits around - were so hard they were inedible. When I tried to call to talk to the manager repeatedly, no one answered....when I went up to the store and complained they told me to complete a survey on my receipt and they'd replace my order. When we went to get our order replaced, I was told it was only 2 pieces of chicken - when I explained what we had been told was going to happen, the girl just shrugged her shoulders and started joking around with the employees working the drive through. This is so sad - Popeye's has always been our go-to for fried chicken but no longer going...
