I'd give this location Zero Stars if I could. DO NOT GO HERE - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SEVICE!!!!!! My wife, family and I eat at Raising Canes 2-5 times per week at a minimum throughout the greater Houston area, we love Cane's chicken fingers. When I placed my order, I requested crispy fries. The young man who took my order was very nice and new. He asked the expediter how to input crispy fries into the computer. She told him we don't do crispy fries, 30 seconds only, it was policy. Well, every Canes I go to I ask for and receive crispy fries (managers often ask me if they're crispy enough). I then asked to speak to the Manager (who I recognized when I walked in the building, but she had gone to the back of the store). The expediter then told me in a very aggressive, rude and authoritative tone she was in charge, and she would handle this conversation. She may be allowed to treat her direct reports this way, but to speak to an Adult customer like this is unprofessional, disrespectful, extremely rude and very bad customer service. I then asked her for her name and her bosses name and the name of the Manager. She stated she did not have to tell me her name which she never did, and she would not give me the name of her boss or manager. Not sure why this is all so confidential, as I was only asking for first names? And only when I pressed her for her boss's name would she give me a business card with an Assistant Restaurant Leader Fry Cook & Cashiers name on it, not the G.M. of the store like I asked. As I was about to leave the store I called the number on the card as I stood by the front door. I asked to speak to the G.M. the girl who answered told me to hang on, I saw the person who answered the phone begin walking back to take the phone to the G.M., now the expediter began running to catch this person before she got to the G.M. I could hear her telling the person with the phone to "wait, wait!!". Obviously not wanting the G.M. to get the phone. Then this Assistant Restaurant Leader Fry Cook & Cashier, Sydney White, came to the front and once again in a very aggressive and rude tone began having this conversation with my wife and I. We also asked her for the G.Ms'. name and we were told she could not give this to us. We asked her why not, and she stated she didn't have to. Neither of these people were wearing name tags. We wanted their names to be able to identify them when we reported their behaviors to Corporate. Which we told them, which I guess is why they didn't want to share anyone's names. She said if we had a complaint to call the 1-800 number on our receipt. I told her I had cancelled my order and didn't have a receipt. We then asked her for the 1-800 number, and she said she didn't know it and wouldn't even get it for us. She said, "Look it up on our website!" My wife and I looked at each other in bewilderment, did she really just say that to us, wow. My complaint is not just about crispy fries, my complaint is about how my wife and I were treated with pure disdain, rude, and terrible customer service at this location. We have never received this type of terrible customer service; from any other Canes we have ever visited. We will NEVER return to this location, EVER because of this. Of course we will continue to eat at other Canes locations, but this one is OFF the books. It's obvious there needs to be more training done at this location. You cannot have 16-20 year olds with QSR floor experience talking to adults the way these two employees spoke to...
Read moreWith the current state of affairs and so much uncertainty in the world I feel it is imperative to celebrate the exceptional customer service we received today from “Nicholas like Santa Clause!” Promote that guy! This particular location is the only one I frequent because the employees understand administering customer service that exceeds expectations and delivers on the promise and commitments to stakeholders and on an organization’s core values is what is requisite for future success! We have visited other locations but all fail in comparison. Even during late hours when most are cutting corners with subpar standards and closing early, this particular location is performing effectively with upmost efficiency! The food was hot and fresh! As soon as we pulled up we were met curbside with a smile and everything was perfectly made to order!I look forward to giving all my money to Raising Cane’s Chicken this summer…what a life!!!
UPDATE
Nicholas and the whole staff at this location is still amazing at delivering exemplary customer service that always makes us feel appreciated like family, light years away from the competition! I’m a paramedic and operate in a profession with many stressors and often it feels as though I’ve been in an earnings streak of “L’s” lately, so it feels so nice receiving a “W” wherever, however! Today I’m celebrating my first “W” in awhile mainly because I work night shift and as all first responders know as soon as you sit down to eat your food that is the exact same time your radio is going off with your next call! It’s Murphy”s Law, I don’t know it’s crazy but true! So this particular crew and location perfectly times our food so that it is delivered piping hot and fresh consistently every single visit ensuring we’re fed with no time to waste, like a well oiled orchestra perfection symphony! Their emotional intelligence capacities are noteworthy, highly showcasing the embodiment of empathy to our unique situation plaguing emergent services. So we have decided that no time is considered a waste to broadcast to the world our professions appreciation for providing a small piece of normalcy in times of crisis; speaking on behalf of civil servants working graveyard shifts to ensure public safety! I encourage everyone that visits this location please thank them for their service because they all work tirelessly throughout the night committed to all Houstonians, EMS stations, & medical professionals delivering happy smiles and great tasting affordable food during late hours! Unheard of! They all deserve raises and I hope corporate is taking notice on how to reiterate target alignment in achieving organization-wide market-competitiveness systems strategy and ethical responsibility success. Demonstrating expertise expressions in realizing objectives transparency that births honest collaboration reinforcements of future vision empowerment pertinent imperatives achievements. Unveiling socioeconomic and political desperation for the level of service this location continues to...
Read moreFirst time coming to Raising Cane's and well it was kind of underwhelming. Hearing how great this place is. It's nothing to yell from the roof tops about.
Staff Friendliness Walking through the door you are practically greeted by everyone in unison. Seems kind of odd, creepy and kind all at the same time but robotic in feeling. The order taker was friendly and was helpful. She answered all questions and didnt feel pushy. 5 stars.
Menu items Menu is small while great. The variety kills it all (not in a good way.) Its all chicken strips that is all. And while that's ok. I just don't think it is enough to really keep someone's interest. Unless you are looking for chicken strips. 2 Stars
Food satisfaction I heard how great their chicken was. Well , while their fries were good, coleslaw was good, and their sweet tea is great. The chicken was really left a question mark. It didn't have any taste. It was bland. They rely heavily on the Cane sauce for taste. To me that just doesn't cut it. Also prices. For some chicken strips and fries it really seems a bit much anywhere from 7-10 depending on the combo deal you get. 2 stars
Overall While the staff was friendly at the time of my visit. It just can't out do the blandness of the food. Especially the chicken. As well as a lack of variety they offer. Its underwhelming. I don't think I will visit again. I give it an over all rating of 3 and that's because staff was very pleasant...
