Fashion Plus — Local services in Channelview

A few months ago my mom purchased a dress for my wedding from fashion plus. Because of medical reasons she can no longer fit in the dress. So she sought to exchange the dress for a different size NOT A REFUND. "Karen" the OWNER of the store outright refused to accommodate my mom and told her blatantly to "LOSE WEIGHT and GET ON A DIET" My mom called me in tears, needless to say I am very upset with the quality of customer service at this establishment. Ladies be warned you may experience the same treatment at this store. At the time of purchase "Karen" never expressed that all sales were final including exchanges. I'm very upset with how my mom was treated today and hearing her cry after all she's been through medically. DO BETTER KAREN you're supposed to be a Christian woman with scriptures all over your store but you treat customers this way that's not what Jesus teaches. Such a SHAME.

No ma'am what you are saying is false unfortunately. You did not offer a solution to my mother. Instead you turned her away and ignored her while quickly helping other customers you deemed more important. You did not take the time to express anything you just wrote. I understand you do not want to lose face because this is your business but please be sincere when you are replying to a negative review. The only person in the store who tried to help my mom was another customer who gave her information on a tailor. You did nothing of the sort, just told my mom to "GET ON A DIET AND LOSE WEIGHT" then proceed to ignore her. If your store does not offer exchanges/ refunds you will benefit from making it known at the time of purchase instead of relying on a small print hidden in a receipt. I really want to give this place 0 stars but since it’s not possible i’m going to give her a 1. I went today to look for a dress and the business owner lady made a comment about me not wearing a bra. She told me i shouldn’t be tempting men by not wearing one because there’s already enough bad/evil in this world. She also brought up the bible and had the audacity to tell me that i should wear a thicker shirt next im out in public. She was so quick to judge me but little did she realize that her judgement wasn’t defining me, it was defining her. The lady who runs this place is honest with you and actually cares to see you in a dress you like and look good in!
