Smoothie King — Restaurant in Texas

I like coming to this location when I feel like a "Sunday drive" through Sheldon's beautiful scenery: long road encompassed by lush towering trees, and the beautiful waters near the Xtreme Sports Park.

I pickup a 44oz Caribbean Way to make my power smoothies back at home. Some days, I'll just wake up and go here first thing, like picking up groceries to make breakfast 😅 or sometimes I've already been out for a 2-3hr run, and I'm ready to wind down from the workout, but not go home quite yet, so I'll try to stay in motion a little longer and take the drive to this location. I used to drive around aimlessy because music and driving were 2 feel goods for me, but overtime it didnt make too much sense because I'd get tired quickly or hungry on the drive. Eventually, I decided to drive to this Smoothie King in particular because I love smoothie King. The drive to and from was my cool down period but still good ME time, I'm just getting a smoothie, ONE item, grab-n-go, so my mind&body are still in motion, and 4. The Carribean Way is my little sip of sugar to get me through to my second wind.

When I stop by in the mornings, theres usually only 1 employee, but no line. And this location is one of the more sweeter ones I've visited. They have the cutest drawings on their display boards, and they have a community bulletin board on the wall too, so very humble/small town vibe. So the wait inside is pleasant, kinda sweet. Overall, this location is phenomenal and just adds to a beautiful day 💛🌻

My review for Smoothie King in general: I only ever order the CARRIBEAN WAY because strawberry/banana smoothies are my go-to and this one is the closest in flavor, and it's the sweetest I've ever tried. I made an effort to try other flavors before, but I dont like wasting the money if I don't like it, and usually i go by myself. NOT a fan of chocolate, peanut butter or bitter flavors, so I really love the Carribean Way.

Compared to other smoothie shops, SK was always kinda pricey for me, and I make alot of my own smoothies at home. so, it was one of those places I rarely treated myself to.

However, after trying alot of other boba shops overtime, Smoothie King is just the most consistent in its product 💛 it didnt matter if it'd been years between visits, the Carrribean Way was still there AND the same as it was 20 years ago.

2025: even though I make my own smoothies at home (spinach, frozen fruit & water, no sweeteners), I sometimes go to SK, order the 44oz Caribbean Way, take it home, add it to my spinach smoothies, stretch it out into 12 servings, and that'll last me a week 😍

Doing this, the Carribean Way adds that little bit of sweetness to my smoothies that I cant always recreate with my at home ingredients. Vice versa, adding my ingredients to the Carribean Way cuts the sweetness down and allows me enjoy my favorite drink longer.

Overall, so long as the Caribbean Way is around, I'll keep coming...

We walked in & my husband who is in the navy walked towards the bathroom while i ordered & the cashier immediately scolded him about ordering something first before going to the restroom. If im already ordering why he can’t use the restroom? Very Unacceptable! He risk his life for this country & this is how he is treated when he come home? The cashier didn’t speak to me , she took very long with our order & when it was ready she didn’t say anything . She sat the smoothies on the counter without saying a word ! She needs to be fired!
