China Ko Restaurant - Crosby — Restaurant in Texas

Myself and two of my children ate here on 1/22/2016 in Crosby. Most of the food was just really bad. It didn't taste like Asian cuisine at all. You could tell that the buffet food didn't have a lot of traffic because you could actually see that it had been sitting. Please consider making smaller ammounts unless it's busy. The rice was very good though a little salty and so was the egg fu young with the sauce. Most of it was so americanized and you could barely tell what cuisine you were eating. Everything was stuffed with cream cheese including the "sushi." The wasabi looked gross as did the ginger and I couldn't finish it because the rice was so badly made. That was NOT spicy mayo--it tasted just like mayonaise! Gross. I'm going to cotradict myself, because on the other hand the fried spring egg rolls with the hint of jelepeno and cream chese were life! But everything tasted like a party food someone made for a superbowl game. Please consider putting at least a couple of authenic Asian dishes on the buffet made by Asian cooks. Preferably a family recipes since they tend to be the best. I would have given a MUCH lower score if the fried rice and those spring rolls wouldn't have...

The absolute worse Chinese food I’ve ever eaten in my life. I cannot put any words behind how bad the food was. It is not your traditional Chinese food & if so I cannot tell. I ordered from the last night off of a menu which I was told was “outdated” upon arrival. I don’t eat chow mein but being that was all I saw again on the “outdated menu” I ordered it. One order had no noodles in it & the other was terrible. They refused to swap the already paid for items for what I actually wanted. The eggrolls taste like dirt. Sweet & sour sauce tasted like it was cooked with ginger. Just an overall terrible experience & terrible staff. I should have known to stay far away from this place when I pulled up its behind a Verizon store & had absolutely no cars in the parking lot. It is also a buffet too so that may play a part in why their food is so terrible. I spent a total of 60.00$ & woke up this morning with diarrhea. Stay away from this place...

I thought i would try a new place....I should have trusted my nose when I walked in. The place smelled like they have a sewage leak. The place was empty and not very clean. I ordered wor won ton soup and dumplings. The dumplings tasted old and dried out. I have never seen won ton soup served with the juice and the vegetables separately. But that is how they do it here. The vegetables taste like they have been cooked in grease that has never been changed. And the order took over 25 minutes to complete even though I was the only one there. The food is definitely not fresh. The place is disgusting. I literally took one bite and threw away the plate because I'm afraid that it may make me sick. This place Needs a complete renovation in my opinion. I definitely will not go back. I also would not recommend this to anyone. I would like to actually worn people not to waste their...
