I’m not often critical and tend to be very patient with fast food workers because I know it can be a rough job, but my service today was not acceptable.
There was one girl working in the store at about 4pm today. Only one other person came in at the same time I did, I told him to go ahead of me. The worker took a couple minutes before getting to either of us and didn’t apologize for the delay. He ordered one sandwich and it was taking a while for the girl to get everything together but I was patient. It got to me and I needed 2 indentical sandwiches. She started to make them extremely slowly like she had just started or something, had to switch out the meat halfway through, then as she was toasting my sandwich someone else came in and she was starting to make their sandwich. She stopped his to pull out my toasted sandwiches, set them on the counter, put a tiny bit of spinach on one (which was wilted btw and I had to point out where the spinach was) then went to the back to get more spinach. Then, instead of continuing to make my sandwich or the next customer’s, she decided to stop to put bread in the oven, take other bread out of the oven and do some sort of cleaning in the back for like 5 minutes before continuing to make my sandwich. Then, she didn’t seem to know where all the ingredients were and didn’t know how to cut or wrap the sandwiches properly. She wasn’t rude or anything but she didn’t seem to apologize to anyone for all the slowness and delays. It seemed like she was a new hire, which would explain the slowness and lack of knowledge of where things are and procedure, but if that was the case, there should have been someone else working to train her because she was not fit to run the store alone at all. I was in there for like 20-25 minutes.
Anyway, I get home to see both sandwiches cut unevenly, the sandwich was made upside down, the veggies tasted off, the bread was chewy and towards the end I had to spit it out and not eat the rest of it because the bread seemed undercooked and inedible, and the meat could possibly have been off as well. An hour and a half to two hours later, my husband and I feel nauseous & dizzy. I’m hoping we don’t have food poisoning.
Anyway, my advice is there should really be more than one employee working the store at a time, and your workers need way more training and supervision. I’m also very concerned at the freshness of the ingredients because you may be giving people food poisoning. Never coming back to...
Read moreThe employees have always been great every time I’ve been here, but management of this store is why I won’t come back. Every week, they are out of supplies like salad bowls, or then out of meat options. Today, I went in for a pickup order, and there was only one regular employee working and handling a very busy shift. He tried handling everything but he was exhausted from lack of help and was unable to make mine and other’s pickup orders without running into more constant walk in customers. We all had to wait around 40 minutes cause he was out of some supplies and didn’t have time to handle everyone’s orders. This isn’t even his fault. This is on the management for failing to give him what he needs to do the job for their location. I always loved to come here and to support the franchise location but they’ve made it difficult to do that going forward.
They have to learn to stop cutting costs in the areas where it affects the experience for the customers. They’re saving the money but then...
Read moreWhy are the employees turning off the lights before closing hours? How are customers suppose to know this location is open for business when the lights are off? This is the second location tonight who deceived customers like myself. I actually went in and your employee with the colorful hair said she turned off the lights because they were out of change. Is that a valid reason to turn off your lights 49 minutes before the restaurant close? Nope! If that was the case you would have closed the restaurant even though this is 2020 and people are using debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, etc. I’m...
